Good cup tie and brilliant result.

Hazard rightly takes the headlines, but these are my musings from the game:

- First 30 minutes I thought we were the better team; better passing & ball retention, and created enough chances to be at least 1-0 up.

- From 30 minutes onwards Liverpool were the better team and really took over; they tightened their press and we really struggled with the intensity making a lot of misplaced passed and errors. They should have capitalized on their domination more, but thankfully we were lot off the hook a few times (Sturridge open goal miss was worse than Torres at OT).

- Second half performance was one of the worst 45 minutes of football we have played this season, ironically with the best goal we have scored in years at the end of it.

- Cahill put in a faultless performance and can still be a useful player for us this season, especially if we are involved in four competitions.

- Christiansen had a shocker. I am a fan of his, but he made two massive errors which handed Liverpool possession in and around our box, and they should have scored from that back pass. I am not putting the boot in for the sake of it, but next time people talk about the fact he should be selected ahead on Luiz on account of the fact that Luiz is pone to 'brain farts' they should remember that argument has no basis when you actually add up said 'brain fart' moments.

- Dave was uncharacteristically bad. Probably the worst game I have ever see him have for us. Lets hope it was a one off.

- Morata. Just more of the same. Decent movement, gets in the position to score a goal. Doesn't score. He is painful to watch now in all honesty, and it feels more and more like a Torres situation with every game that goes by without a goal.

- Barkley impressed me last night. He might need to do more to keep his place in the starting 11, but I think he is improving and I like what I am seeing. Needs to add goals to his game, but played his part in the equalizer to be fair.

- Hazard- simply world class. Give the boy anything. £400K/week, the armband, a £5M signing payment, whatever he wants. Throw everything we have got at him and make him stay.

Preferably a home game, and an easy on paper opponent. Would be an ideal chance give the youngsters some minutes.

Who do we want in the next round? Personally it has to be Burton at Home chance for CHO to get some minutes

When is the draw?

Henderson screamed at Hazard "f**king pussy" after the first foul. He was completely rattled straight away...

Second was even funnier because Henderson is seen as a bit of midfield enforcer type but the bin dippers and a 5ft 6" winger completely out muscles him the tackle.

What I liked most is that Hazard just doesn't react at all. Isn't rolling about on the floor after the fouls, isn't getting up and screaming at Henderson. He's just letting his superior quality do all the talking.

Great result. Good performance on the first half. The non regulars (Fab, Moses) were good but then on the second half they got tired (?) or something because they performed much, much worse. Like has already been said in the defence Dave had an awfull night. Cahill was a positive suprise and if Rudi is not fit on Saturday I'd put him with Luiz in the middle of defence. Morata, what can I say? The big difference between Morata and Giroud at the moment is that where Giroud thinks the benefit of the team Morata is only aiming at scorimg the goal himself.

Gaballero and Hazard were the best ones yesterday: Others do what they can, Eden what he wants!

Henderson was completely triggered by Hazard.

He completely lost his head whilst Hazard calmly nutmegged his team mates, scored a match winning wonder goal and collected MOTM on his way out.

Have the scousers asked MI5 for full scale investigation into last night's result, yet !

From seeing most of their comments, they want a full scale investigation into Carragher as well, presumably because he wasn't frothing quite as much as the fans.

Anyway, always a very satisfying fixture to win, and glad we could do it in such style...a comeback late on makes it even sweeter. Needless to say we'll be in for an even tougher test at the weekend, but it's good to have the momentum and mental upper hand going into it, and also to have Hazard firing on all cylinders. For now though, let's carry on making the most of last night! Glorious stuff. ::ChELSeAFaN::

It looks like Eden is being played at a different speed to everyone else on the pitch (like when you have one person in black and white in an otherwise coloured photo or film).

man The Mighty Eden did Moreno real dirty like, which is fine by me

12 seconds of dribbling and then shoot? Sounds about right! :laugh2:

12? Your wife/husband/girlfriend/other is a very lucky lady/man/thing.....

Just thought I better cover the bases in this PC world. Ha ha....

Did you just assume that their sexual preference is something based within our world? You disgusting pig.

From last night's match I can see why certain players are replacements. We started well and finished well but in between was abysmal. Christiansen, Emerson and Barkley (his passing in particular) were not good.

In many ways it reminded me of the Arsenal match as Liverpool missed absolute sitters. I thought Willy was excellent btw. Poor Morata can't buy a goal even though he plays well.

Yeah sorry about that, I forgot to include nebulous 7th dimension beings too. My bad.

It even looks like that as he runs off to celebrate too

Hmm, well, uh, you pretty much nailed it spot on. If I try to add anything, it will just take away from your thoughts. Five stalks of celery post mate!

Come on you Chelsea!!

Not sure what is says but there must be a f**k you Scouse twats in there somewhere.

the commentator says at the end ;"it's the kind of goals that gives you goosebumps... unless you're a liverpool fan" :laugh2:
