I'm ambivalent at the moment.

Boehly might prove to be a good owner he is certainly trying by bringing in more talented people to support the manager and club. This does not guaranty success though shows ambition.

It is all about getting the right people to work together and having the funds to get the identified players.

Then the results should improve.

So is this guy to be the one instead of Edwards or as well as. I am confused by all of these positions that now seem to pop up on social media.

From what I understand, they are making a team versus using just one person like what we did in the past so Edwards could still come.

Iirc Vivell is rumoured to be our Technical Director, Edwards was approached to be our Sporting Director. Different roles 

I'd imagine this is the operational structure Boehly had in mind. Kind of overkill but I am here for it if this provides long term sustainability.

At least Todd is ambitious. 

Fair play to Todd so far, he’s done everything right. I know the Tuchel decision is controversial and we argue for days about that. However, if you look at the money they spent, young players, putting proper structure in place etc. it’s all building towards something. So far so good.

Cannot fault his enthusiasm for this new venture. Can fault his eye for talent, at least on the pitch related.

I always assumed that it wasn’t Todd doing the scouting. The team, whoever it was advised him to buy these players.  Todd just negotiated.

The fact that he's selling on youngsters to big teams for big money indicates that he is spotting good young players. If we don't sell on them, we can build a strong team to challenge for titles.

Hopefully thats the plan. 

Yeah I think with these players getting slapped with 5-7 year contracts, club is playing the long game.  Intention is if they are good enough, they will play, or we will sell for profit.

I don't even think he thinks he's done everything right so far.

He’s made another slight change to the bridge.

Never gave it much thought before but the previous sign wasn’t so prominent from afar.

I think the club's name might be Chelsea. Not sure though, it's a bit ambiguous.

 

Given reports are suggesting the club want to sign young players, you can only conclude that the club have put a lot of faith in Potter into developing these younger players to understand his vision. Think ready made talent will be few and far between.

Think based on this approach it is very much the long game. Don't know how long the club will suffer results wise in the meantime, but based on this philosophy the goal is to eventually reach the Top 1-3 and stay there vs go up and down the table season after season.
