1-1 is good and probably fair reflection of 1st half. Jovacic header had to be so precise from the cross to the finish to score.

Loftus Cheek's performance kind of summed up that half.

By the way that kid Jovic, looks very tidy on the ball.

Hazard should sit his ass on the bench. This is a 2 legged tie and not a must win, Our next 3 games are must wins especially in the league. Very smart call from Sarri.

Emerson ,Giroud  &  Andreas are all having a mare , we could of been more than one down before we scored.

Ruben by far our best player .

Last 15 minutes were much better after a really sluggish start. I think Willian and Pedro playing a bit closer to our midfield helped, a lot of players looked very isolated in the opening 30.

Frankfurt have pressed well, fouled when they needed to and got away with a few too, mind you Christensen's very lucky to still be on the pitch so I guess both sides have benefited from some questionable calls. Great header from their forward for the goal but Luiz needed to be closer.

Keep up the intensity of the end of that half and there's more chances in this for us. Jorginho slowly gained control of the pace of the match, Kante and Loftus Cheek are finding more pockets to drive into, and the front 3 are starting to threaten (fine finish from Pedro). Looks like the goal at least woke us up!

Fingers crossed for a strong second half display.

This may be a minority opinion, but Luis has been out best defender.

Very lucky for Pedro's laser finishing. Virtually our only shot on target.

Frankfurt have done exactly what we should have expected. Pressured hard and made us pay for every loose ball. Very reminiscent of our style season 1 under Conte. What a header from Jovic, although once again Kepa just doesn't make big saves. Every chance Tibo or Cech stops that with their bigger reach and better shot stopping ability.

Ruben looks our biggest threat at the moment, let's keep at it for 20 mins and then bring on Hazard to see whether we can pinch another away goal.

ive not been overly impressed with Frankfurt, they showed great energy for 30 minutes, but I think they miss rebic and haller. 

We on the other hand have been poor. The amount of times the 1st touch of players has given the ball away is shocking. Giroud is usually decent with his back to goal, but he looked like heskey for 30 mins. 

Last 15 mins have been much better, still really lacklustre with the ball, but at least we got some control back, and the goal was coming. Away goal could be massive though, so hopefully we keep it tight second half, and leave ourselves in a good position going into the second leg.

Thank god for that, much much better.

btw RLC is looking really good in this match - in fact this is a very good match to watch - both sides are creating chances from good play

First 5-10 and the last 5 minutes were good. Everything in between was poor.

Struggling to create anything much. Overplaying with unncessary passes. Defence looking shaky.

Will take a draw.
