We already were. Kane was offside in the League Cup against us last season and VAR got it wrong.

i can't believe we cannot sort this defense for so many seasons now. Now we are really f**ked with Zouma. We are a mess.

What a back four we have now. Three of four are liabilities.

Zouma and Alonso at the back 4. Damage limitation now. I'll bite your hand off for this to stay 2-0 tbh

Margins. Nothing really in the game. Mounts leg is offside and Alonsos leg keeps Mane onside for the freekick (presume he would have been VAR'd for offside as he attacked the free kick in the middle of the goals).

We finished 25? points behind them last season, and we are a worse side now, so compared to liverpool, there isnt much difference between us or Wolves, leicester, united, Arsenal. 

We are miles off the top of the table, thats just the reality at the moment.

I think its just the back 4 that's the problem and the more than average sloppiness when we do have the ball in the middle.  We have been giving the ball away far too easily with high risk passes or when the player receiving is being hounded and loses the ball....anyway until this transfer ban is lifted we will be an average team at best this season; If Frank finishes in the top 6-8 it will be a decent season.
