Everton v Chelsea (PL) Sat 7th Dec 12:30 GMT

Featured Replies

Same team as Wednesday night.

My main worry would be Christensen, but I think he'll keep his spot.

We mustn't pick this side with Lille in mind. Pick your best team and worry about Lille when it comes.

Could be a tricky game this.

even though Everton are in turmoil, they seem to cause problems whenever we play them.

Only works at the best clubs with the best ex players.

It works at clubs where the ex player actually has the talent to manage and somehow can earn the respect of the squad. It seems to have worked in Franks case but he could still easily end up in pochetino territory. Great manager who doesn’t win trophies. Have to say though I’ve been really impressed so far.

I hate these types of games. Early kick off, team just sacked their manager, struggling badly for form, at home. It has banana skin written all over it.
This 100%. Much easier to face top of their game Liverpool at Anfield as we have only to win.

Managers gone and their legend Duncan Disorderly in charge. First up for them, us. Can only end up one way. Hopefully not.

Tbh would much rather that than Moyes. You could actually imagine Moyes coming in and getting something out of it.

Expect a tough game, at least we we will expect Everton make it harder for us to score, don't expect couple of goals from straight through ball like they had the other night. Both teams will be fatigued with 2 days turn around. If we play like against Villa, we win it, if the team against West ham shows up, could be anything. Even with the must win mid week game, I doubt Lampard will make more than 2 changes. I expect Jorginho to play, possible Emerson or Tomori, but there won't be another Pedro start.

This game really is about who take their chances. Hopefully it is us. Could be a real grind because of the fatique.

I would go with that line up too.

According to this article - http://danthestatman.com/data/reaching-your-goals/

Over 2.5 goals looks a good shout, although that probability does not factor in the sacking of Marco Silva, so maybe Everton won't be as useless this lunchtime.

Largely expected line up.

I would have started Tomori ahead of Christiensen but I'll back Frank's judgment here.

Pretty much agree with this, otherwise am happy with the XI.

Not sure what to make of Everton's - maybe a sort of 4-1-3-2?
