 Very good performance.. we didn’t miss Jorginho at all.

He's our best midfielder and Barkley is looking good with how he attacks and makes assists now.

How is he only 18??? Plays like a seasoned veteran.

The maturity in his game is amazing and I genuinely think he’s going to become one of the world’s best when he fully matured.

Its a shame Fabregas wasn’t a couple of years younger, I would have loved to see him play with Gilmour.

Name another Player in his first two proper starts gets M.O.T.M, So all the chatter after the pool game, was so deserved, the Verratti comparison is spot on whoever said it, Good players make it look so easy

2 games as starter, 2 wins, 2 Motm awards. This is a start of something really special.

Id like to think i've seen hundreds of midfield players in my lifetime, but few are those that catch the eye, Cesc, pirlo, Xavi, Ballack, Scholes, Keane, Souness, Veratti, those that just show instant Quality, young gilmour oozes it, i thought with Mount, and Reece we had diamonds, but this season just keeps producing, loving watching the performance today, some one better on the ball than Zouma, and we aint far off.

I Saw that live, he is bang on, but he does seem very level headed, His young team mates will keep him grounded, on another note, i haven't heard Keano wax about a player so much for years, come on Chelseaaaaaaaaa

Lingard, Alli, Barkley are players that don't strike me as people who make sacrifices, they are only as good as their natural talent and are likely to get side tracked by side hustles and nightclubs.

Just watched the post match with wee Pat and Billy boy and must say I see a bit of both Nevin and Prince Charlie in the lad.

I mentioned this previously, people need to take it down a notch because we have seen players in this country hype and then don't live up to the hype way too often, the list is endless. I remember when Rashford was the second coming of the football God, or Dele was the next great midfielder.

Just enjoy his performances now because it will get tougher a lot tougher

Absolutely incredible talent! Just hope this current praise doesn't get to his head too much and he carries on improving and solidifying his spot in the team!

We have seen so many times a player come through like him who's great and then fizzles away (though I don't expect to see that with him)

That's so accurate, and exactly what happened to Josh McEachran and the bloke sat in front of him. Billy looks level headed though.
