I'll stick by what I said a few weeks back. He's exceeded my expectations this season, but I don't think his place in the first 11 is guaranteed next season. I don't think he is quite good enough right now to lead a top team, we need somebody better.

Which youngsters exactly? Mount and Reece? I am seeing this "youth" excuse creep up when instead we have problems with senior players not being good enough. Azpi, Christensen, Rudiger, Alonso, Barkley...I could keep going. We lack quality in our squad all over the place, period.

I think we all predicted a loss tonight if we're being realistic. The disappointing thing is that not one of our players has risen to the occasion. There's no evidence anywhere around the pitch of any obvious progress being made as the season has gone on either as a unit or individually.

It's not, it really isn't. Wingers is one area (with Hakim's arrival) that should be the lowest priority going into the summer.

Davies is a 19 year old kid and he's destroying this Chelsea side.

Reece James maybe a good player going forward but his positional sense is so poor , he gets caught at so often
