I'm going to enjoy that for a few days - bloody brilliant!

We had great and consistent defensive shape today, not used to it!

 

 

Never thought I’d say this, but thought we looked a lot more solid with Zouma at the back. 

Even though they rotated their pack Liverpool did have our 3 of their main back 4 and started Mane. Not their best side by far but still a really good result.

Great win but I am celebrating the performance. It was really top notch. 

Alot and rightly so has been said about gilmour tonite ,but may i throw giroud into the post match chin wag since he bullied the lpool back line for all the 90 mins + fergie time ,well done giroud

Giroud worked his arse off like he always does, unlucky not to score. 

Have to wonder if the mix up between James and Batman for the last sub went something like:

So many good performances tonight. Stand outs for me were Kepa, Zouma, Giroud, Pedro (run himself into the ground for us) and MOTM Gilmore.

What about Kepa's performance? I think he saved everything that could be saved. Let's hope his form continues to improve.
