I think they have just played against Dortmund before facing us.

You can tell he didn't care at all about that fa tie against us.

All coaches put the PL and CL before the FA Cup, but there is no way he "didn't care at all" about our FA cup semi-final. City wanted to make history and win all 4 trophies and that defeat will have hurt.

Spurs are apparently in talks with Sarri. Reckon he might do ok there?

I don't see it working out well for either party.

He doesn't have the players to play his style.

PeH or Dier as a registra? Laughable.

Tell you what, we can always swap Jorginho for Kane if that happens.😅

Sarri is definitely abit of an odd ball. I think he’s a decent coach, just not very exciting.

Son would be better, We won't stop harry dropping back to defend at times, he's trying to turn into Roy Race

Even Harry Kane?!

Yep, harry kane sucks but atleast he doesnt do that stupid face that a child would pull when trying to look like they didn't eat the cake despite the fact that there mouth is covered in chocolate that son does everytime he hacks someone down or gets book for diving

That SON of a bithch really pisses me off

Not with the lineup he used.

Puts our performance against them last week in perspective. Shows how good we were.

To some degree yes. But it was very different team that we played

Pep himself said very clearly after the game that he wanted to win the FA Cup too and he was actually pretty aggressive against the journalist that questioned his lineup so he himself doesn't agree with your view at all, that much you can be sure of.

Some comparisons to the lineup we faced in the FA Cup and the lineup Man City had in this Carabao Cup final:

Laporte, Dias, Cancelo, Walker (Mendy), Fernandinho, Rodri (Gundogan)DeBruyne, Sterling, Torres (Mahrez), G.Jesus (Foden).

So the difference was that Pep had in the Cup final Mendy instead of Walker, Gundogan instead of Rodri, Torres instead of Mahrez and Foden instead of G.Jesus - both teams are pretty strong and if we look into it a bit more, Walker for example played more than Mendy and Rodri played almost 50 games this season which is more than Gundogan so Pep actually selected a more trusted lineup against us for the FA Cup when it comes to the backline and deep midfield.

The player that has had a breakthrough this season for Pep is Ferran Torres so clearly the 21 year old isn't as reliable as Mahrez but on the other hand Pep started with a more experienced G.Jesus and not with Foden so if you think that Pep didn't want to win the FA Cup this season solely based on the fact that he chose to start with Torres and G.Jesus instead of Mahrez and Foden you probably missed the fact that Pep tends to rotate his players all the time and arguably even when it's not really needed, this season G.Jesus played in all FA Cup matches so you only have Ferran Torres as your only go-to player as "evidence" that Pep didn't care about the FA Cup in comparison to the most recent final that Pep won which isn't good enough of an argument, just listen to what he said after the game:

"When you have two-and-a-half days to recover and you play away, and we had to travel on the train longer than three hours, and everyone deserves to play, but don't say we don't pay attention, this team won three finals in a row in the Carabao Cup. Say the team played bad, but it's a poor argument; you cannot do what we have done without paying attention. It was a tight game, we were not able to win, so again, congratulations to Chelsea, but if you believe we don't pay attention, what would you say if we win with eight changes? Don't say after the game we don't pay attention just because we lose the game; say it before, not after. We respect the FA Cup - we came here to win."

I don't care what he said because of course he will say so. If you have watched city play and how they attack you will see why that lineup that he put up is more whoever fit lineup.

Spurs being bridesmaids again.

The world feels right! 😎

Serves them right for sacking Jose the week of a final.

Small club who win nothing. We should have known the ESL wasn't for us as soon as they said Spurs would be involved!

Not a big difference at all from that lineup and the lineup he had in the Cup final so...

Bayern Munich have moved a step closer to hiring Julian Nagelsmann as their new manager after reportedly agreeing personal terms with him. According to BILD, both parties have spoken and are happy with the plans in place for him to replace the outgoing Hansi Flick this summer

so no spuds then 😂
