But it is strange to be sidelined by it. I suppose it depends what finger but all they can do normally do is tape them together.  It's happened to my lad a few times now and all he can do is adapt his gloves.

If he needed surgery it was probably complicated, not fixed by borrowing Liverpool's stash of black armband ducttape.

Any mention on transfer fee? I assume anything over £8.8m is profit. 

Hopefully this is true, and good luck to him.  Put in a great 18months, but is too weak with his feet and has lost confidence/presence in the box.  We can do better 

Who ever we replace him with needs to be at equal quality as Kepa so he can be ditched at first chance.

He's a strange case.

Usually when a player declines so much there's an obvious cause but with him there isn't one.

He had his moment in the sun, 99% of players don’t even get that, the Saudi deal will set him up for life dining off the Tucehl/CL run. 

His problem started when he tried to play football with his feet,  never got the techniques to do it. He's the traditional goal keeping GK, should just stick with punting the ball long ( managers should take some blames for instructing him to play football) . Once a few mistakes came in, confidence waved, and he's back to the Kepa we had few seasons ago, can't catch a cold even if he tried.

To be honest I was never convinced by him.

We’ve had great keepers in Cudicini, Cech and Courtois and it’s been really noticeable how important a top quality keeper is since Kepa and Mendy came in. 
 

If Silva goes we need a really experienced keeper behind what is going to be a really young defence. I’d rather get someone like Oblak instead of one of our outfield targets like Caicedo for instance.

Ferguson was right when he said the best keepers are worth 15 points a season.

TT has history of clashing with his board/dof. There is no chance he can stay in one team for a long time.

I’m happy we got rid of Ziyech and Koulibaly. Not sure how I feel about Mendy, I think there’s still that Mendy somewhere in him. Ah well we’ll never know now.

Now can we replace Kepa too please?

That quoted fee was a deal that would have included Lukaku. Looks like we're getting about 40m for Ziyech/Mendy/KK.

Expected to get more for both Ziyech and Koulibaly tbh. Ziyech is good to get off the books but Koulibaly could have been useful. But I guess we are really, really leaning into building a team with purely youngsters. Fair enough that but could go either way.

Problem is that we’re overloaded in defence. Especially left footers.
