Thankfully, in this case.. Mendy will f**k off now, so it’s had an upside but we HAVE to get rid of Kepa before signing someone else.

September 6, 20223 yr He's still got 3 years left so we can stall for a year at least, he'll need to show he cn get over this slump before we offer anything big. I don't think big clubs are circling him with big offers any time soon so nothing to worry about.
September 10, 20223 yr Mendy never thanked Tuchel on social media, he should have been the first player to thank him, 9 month slump in form and he never threw him under the bus once. Blood on his hands, blood on his f**king hands.

September 10, 20223 yr Love Mendy but he isn't the best with distributing the ball. It is interesting to see what Potter thinks of him. He might well prefer Kepa. Probably sounds insane but Kepa is better at playing with feet.
September 10, 20223 yr he dropped and sold Ryan, who went to the World Cup with Australia, because he wasn't good enough in his distribution

September 11, 20223 yr Players get manager sacked, Mendy is a typical example of that. No manager could do sh1t about it when you have a GK handing out free goals every other game. But who knows, maybe now he's overcomed with guilt he will start catching cross again and stop f* around with his feet on balls. Maybe Boehly will give him a new contract too, funnier things have happened before at Chelsea.

September 15, 20223 yr Both Kepa and Mendy represent two generations of modern day goal keeping. One is good with his feet and can play as a sweeper. The other terrible on his feet but a good shot stopper.

November 3, 20223 yr Unbelievable - had to dig back to Sep 16 to find Mendys thread. Anyway, only saw highlights but he makes me very nervous in goal these days.

Did well yesterday.. The goal was on KK who thought Kepa was still in goal and decided he wanted to protect the back post leaving his striker unmarked.

They only scored because Dave completely messed up his header, and put it on a plate for the Dinamo player. It was almost a perfect assist LOL, and certainly nothing to do with KK or Mendy. November 9, 20223 yr New record? Under 2 minutes and he nearly costs us a goal with the ball at his feet.

Maybe so, but I think it is more noteworthy that City had 9 shots on target and only scored twice, so that's 7 saves for Mendy in the positives column. Whoscored's algorithms rated him at 8.1, best in our team last night, and only 0.1 behind Ortega.
