October 17, 20205 yr Conceded poor goals scored 3 really nicely worked goals, but in between the goals we were second best for large parts of the game. Lost the midfield in the second half, I think Lampard has to take some criticism because he didnt do anything to gain back control until James came on. Havertz looked absolutely knackered aswell. Whole back 5 we're terrible aswell second half, but my god to we lack some steel and physicality in midfield. 2 points dropped. very disappointed.
October 17, 20205 yr 2 points thrown away today. We defend like a mid table championship team that buckle under the slightest bit of pressure. Edited October 17, 20205 yr by 2211
October 17, 20205 yr As long as Christensen plays he have no real backline. If it takes more games to see it then so be it, but we have looked much better as soon as he doesn't play, even with 10 men.
October 17, 20205 yr That was absolutely gutting. And as much as it pains me to say it, doubts about the manager are starting to seep in. Giving away the points after being two up against Soton at home borders on unforgiveable and West Brom was likewise. Just threw four points out the window over those two games and it's hard to believe it will stop happening all of a sudden at this point. Next league game is at Old Trafford where we always struggle and a loss there and the pressure is really, really on unfortunately. Damn it! A win and a clean-sheet and we would have had a very positive outlook on things right now. Instead we get this sh*t.
October 17, 20205 yr We concede ridiculous goals and we score beautiful ones. Our midfield are too haphazard. Kante is pulled out of position so many times and Jorginho is not good enough defensively. When Christensen and Kepa is on, everything is chaotic because the CBs and GKs are not in sync at all
October 17, 20205 yr Lampard's man management skills were poor second half. Havertz should have come off, not Werner. Abraham should not have came on. We needed Werner for the counter attack. Havertz scored and had decent spells but ran out of gas and the last 2 subs imo should have been James and CHO. Werner should have stayed on. Kovacic would have been useful in this game too just to calm things down and keep hold of the ball. But wasnt there and if Lamps left him our, utterly poor decision. No need for Abraham and both Giroud when it was obvious both would not come on. You can see why Lamps wanted Rice. No natural DM in the team and we just look way too open. Disappointing now as that shadows a brilliant game for Werner. Worried about how open we are though and just imagine when we play better teams.
October 17, 20205 yr How can we have such great attacking players, but such an awful bloody defence? Ridiculous again, f**king shambles. Kepa shouldn't be in the squad let alone the starting 11, and Christensen and Zouma aren't top 4 material. This team can go places, but not with that back line.
October 17, 20205 yr Individual errors we have a few We look like conceding everytime we are attacked, a strong physical DM is needed We have a striker again This team will entertain us as well as frustrate...when we are good we are very very good...
October 17, 20205 yr I do not want Lampard to leave but our board are very unlikely to take kindly to the state of affairs. 6 goals conceded in 2 matches against West Brom and Southampton is just pathetic. f**k me Frankie mate, it’s time to turn this sh*t show around.

Christensen just makes no difference at all you don't notice that he's on the pitch at all he's clueless. CHRISTENSEN IS A BITCH PLAIN AND SIMPLE. No disrespect to Bitches
October 17, 20205 yr Teams have to do so little to score against us. I’m tired of the same conversation. yes no Mendy it Silva, but it shows just how weak we are. this is on Frank for me also. We show no signs of progress at the back. Infact we are actually getting worse.
October 17, 20205 yr I'm actually livid at that. This isn't Fifa but that's how it seems its being approached. Stick talented forwards on and pray they score more than the other team. It's a complete shambles and we have no control over games whatsoever. We look dlike relegation fodder in that second half, our defensive record is probably the worst in my living memory as a Chelsea fan. It's not on and Frank better come out and apologise for that today and hang that keeper and defence out to dry. His protection method hadn't worked for over a year
October 17, 20205 yr Who would of thought at 2-0 up 30 min in we would barely hanging on for a draw. They could have scored more at the end there.

October 17, 20205 yr The thing about great coaches is that they have a plan A and when this is going wrong, they adapt plan A and usually get their desired rewards. Lampard just seems to have a tombola off formations and shapes when he’s struggling without having a genuine Knowledge of what is going on during the game. I’m worried now.

Same here. I’m still behind frank but of performances like these continue I don’t think the board will be patient after giving frank everything he wanted this summer. There are several managers in the league that would kill to have the backing he had this summer.

Zouma has always had a clanger in him in his whole career - this isn’t a one off. He’s right Gol. You’re perfectly entitled to dislike Christensen and to think he’s rubbish. But today isn’t the day to pin it on from what I can tell and your arguments are flimsy and convoluted. As far as I can tell you are looking for something (more specifically - evidence to confirm your bias) that just isn’t there. Zouma is indeed capable of howlers too (was rapidly and prematurely becoming somewhat overrated on here imo) and hardly the next Van Dijk.
