For that goal, Werner was just standing there oblivious. Might not have been his man but he should have seen the danger rather than just stand and watch.

Hope TT has given them a rocket and makes the changes early.

We had our chanced ti score with Mount and Warner. That's what happens if you are wastful like that. Still time to win this. Need Giroud  on.

So we are relying on Spuds to save our bacon at the moment, not good enough again, 2/3 of the attacking 3 haven’t showed up again and the double pivot lost the plot towards the end. Come on Spuds ! 😉

Grateful for half-time to be quite honest. We were completely losing our heads out there.

Changes are desperately needed. We've been truly horrific since we went behind.

James isn't suited to that right sided centre back position. No coincidence that we're conceding goals since Tuchel bought that change to the team... Get him back at right wing back or bring on CHO to play there.

We have to turn up there is no ifs or buts. Whilst not directly relevant I don't see how we can beat Man city in a ucl final if we cannot put away Villa to make top 4. Tommy must be telling them this, we're playing not just for ucl next season but your place in the finals next week. If you want to play in the ucl prove it show that's our level. Big talk needed and then 3 points will be ours. Intensity from the off catch them early and then go for the winner

 

pretty well business as usual that half. Miss a bunch of presentable chances early on. Gradually Villa grow into the game and then we let them score a sloppy goal right before half time. Werner and Pulisic in particular were rubbish in that half. A draw is no real value today. We either come back to win and qualify on our own merit, or we rely on help from other teams. At the moment it looks like we have to hope for help from Spurs.

I still don't know why James is now CB and Azpi wing back. What is the reasoning behind it?

I would go all out second half nothing to lose now.
