August 14, 20214 yr Great hug between Tammy and Trevoh. Every Blue making sure he's hugging him, great to see how pleased everybody is for him [sniff].
August 14, 20214 yr A very good performance, completely in control. We still looked pretty toothless going forward until the Alonso free-kick but hopefully Lukaku will add another dimension to our game which will see us really kick on. Second half was a professional job, off to a winning start and that’s all that matters until everyone is back up to speed and we’re full strength. My only complaint is we need to wait until next weekend to watch us again! We better beat Arsenal, you just know this will be the one game of the season that they decide to turn up! August 14, 20214 yr All of this hope and optimism, right in time for our annual stinker against Arsenal.
August 14, 20214 yr Great day. Crowds are back! Chalobah's debut strike! Comfortable 3-0 win! Champions of EUROPE! What more can you ask for at this stage.

August 14, 20214 yr Dominant performance Special mention to Kovacic who put in 120 in midweek and still had a lot in the tank Jorginho along with Kovacic ran the show Great free kick from Alonso ...vital as we were struggling to break Palace down. He also put in a shift midweek Chalobah with the perfect debut capped by a goal Perfect week

August 14, 20214 yr Great start. Havertz and Christensen looks combative today. Taken no sh*t from roughhousing by some Palace players. Vieira's in for a tough season if he can't figure out a way to put together a coherent attack.

He had a great game, not to take anything away from him but you’re right. He was caught out for the Rudi block where he was way up the pitch and he doesn’t have the pace to recover. It was still a great performance but against the better teams it’s a risk.
August 14, 20214 yr Wonderful start to the season in the sun bathed Stamford Bridge. Beautiful day indeed. Come on you Chelsea!!
August 14, 20214 yr Dominant performance can’t ask for much more after a tough midweek game, thought Jorginho and Kovacic were fantastic. So Good to have Chelsea back.
August 14, 20214 yr This game was less intense than a pre season game. Just what the doctor ordered after the fa f**ked us with a Saturday afternoon game in the sun after 120 mins in the super cup. It's going to hard to bench chalobah against Arsenal.
