It’s clear we need an extra man in the midfield..this obsession with a 3 at the back is becoming counter productive now.

Bissouma has been fanastic. 

If/when we do sign Digne there will be at least one instance of Mendy playing it long to the left of the halfway line before he remembers that Digne is about a foot shorter than Alonso.

This feels a lot like the second half of the Brentford game.

Nice flick there from Hudson-Odoi, certainly looks better after being switched to the right (decision not to shoot notwithstanding).

Nobody disputes he's inconsistent, so there is no "point to prove". And no, he didn't start playing last week, but he's in one of the best competitions now, where mistakes are called out immediately. Practically nobody is 7 out of 10 or higher at a young age. You might want to lower your expectations.

To be fair, Brighton are possibly the best "pound for pound" outfit in the league, if you consider the budget and resources they have available, and what the manager is able to get out of them ...

Exactly, plus he probably has a few other guys in there like Lukaku or Kovacic nowhere near 100% and others that have to be a bit knackered like Jorginho.

Get an extra man in midfield 

Jorginho, Kova, Mount are awful in our midfield tonight. Someone with Jorginhos  experience should be able to get some sort of grip of this.
