Surprised to say a few "Chelsea fans" are calling up phone in calling for Lukaku to be back in.

No I am all for ribbing on Argo but come on, he has not motivation to play for us, I doubt he would even break in to a jog nevermind a sprint.

I believe Lukaku is one of, if not the best, strikers in the world available at the moment. He could definitely lead the line for Chelsea if only the manager or the club had a proper plan to suit his abilities instead of shoehorning midfielders into false nine or trying unproven youngsters to score 20+ goals a season. 

However his time at Chelsea is gone, he's got nothing to prove anymore at a place where he's not loved so will definitely leave whenever a suitable club appears on the scene.

Gab Marcotti (Italian jurno) on ESPN has confirmed no club is actively looking to take Rom.

Stated it looks likely that Rom is here after the window closes on September 1st and then it will be IF Saudi decides to come back for him or not.

Lukaku must be thinking what he did wrong when we paid 97m of him just few years back and now we have put him in quarantine so he won't infect the squad and no team in Europe wants him.

It says everything that a load of clubs are apparently after Mason Greenwood, and yet none at all are after Lukaku.

He should have taken the massive Saudi money for two years and then played out the rest of his career at the Italian club of his choice for pin money.

The difference in work rate between this fool and Jackson is canyon wide. Saying that if Lukaku could guarantee us 20 goals a season he would be in the team, were not idiots, but the chances of him scoring 20 in the prem are zero, so you end up with lazy white elephant in the team.

I am still yet to get any clear idea of what exactly went wrong between Lukaku and Chelsea. We bought him and he genuinely seemed happy to return, but then it turned a bit sour with Tuchel, right? From that point he gave that interview and things went downhill. Is there no way we can just patch things up and continue with Lukaku, because we need a ST. If he wants to leave next summer then we find a solution, but we need a goalscorer and he's still our player and we can't find him another club atm. I am just befuddled by the whole situation tbh. We could just make a deal that it's a relationship of convenience until next summer.

What went wrong is that the bloke thinks he belongs with the best strikers in the world and deserves the respect that comes with it. He lives off of his early promise and that Conte season with Inter. Even last year he was regularly on the bench for them.

His attitude is a plague and is the last thing that we want around a group of young players that we are hoping are going to develop into a crop of world beaters. There's a reason not only no club wants him but fans actively protest when their board show any level of interest. It's also telling that he is not longer desired, loved or even respected by teams he has already played for. He claimed to be a Chelsea fan before he even signed for us originally, but has never shown us an ounce of love other than in the first few months when we re-signed him and I'm sure that was only because we were treating him like the god he thinks he is. And even that wasn't enough for him to keep his mouth shut for a calendar year.

He struggles to maintain his fitness and physique and that's only going to get worse as the years go on. 

Even if we could arrange a relationship of convenience until next summer, there's no guarantee he can deliver the goods anymore. Its a high risk, low reward tactic. Hence why the club have removed him from the first team group.

If Tuchel did something wrong, we would know about it, it's not like Lukaku is one to keep his mouth shut.

He was upset that he wasn't being played, and what's interesting is that he was being played. He was getting plenty of starts, but he got injured and Kai came in and started playing in his position and Lukaku didn't instantly get back into the team. But that happens, managers don't want to rush players back instantly. 

It's funny because he would've definitely started against Liverpool at the time, but because of his big mouth we had to keep him out of the team on principle. That interview he did was one of the most unprofessional things I've seen. At least when Cristiano Ronaldo went on Piers Morgan, he was actually frozen out of the team by ETH, Lukaku wasn't. This guy should not be playing on principle I don't care how good he is, what sort of message does it send when you can just slag your club, your teammates, your manager off like that and put us in a horrible position? The only person who's at fault for the Lukaku situation is Lukaku and only Lukaku.

The only thing I can ever remember coming out was reports that a Spurs match was on and Conte came on the screen so Tuchel said to Lukaku something along the lines of "Hey look, its your Daddy". 😁

Yeah a loan to Roma has been muted and Lukaku expects us to cave at the end of the window, while we are considering taking the risk he hangs around in the hope a move to Saudi happens.

A straight loan solves nothing for us - need to call his bluff and let the euro deadline pass and hope the Saudi’s bite.

If the deadline does pass without him moving, then I assume he is left with little choice but to move to Saudi? Unless he is willing to try and fight for a way back into our team.

Depends on if they still want him, and how far he is willing to take his stance of Europe or bust.

if he just trains till January he may think our position may change on a loan.

So today there are rumours saying Pochettino is willing to talk to Rom about instilling him into the first team. Do that and you can start counting your last days in the job. Such a toxic manboy this is. Effective in that department if we've ever seen one. Hopefully that is only a dirty rumour.

I am not big fan of this. People will say he will influence our young player, bla2 and be a bad influence, bla2, nah this kind of stuff is just nonsense. You never heard this kind of stuff about Lukaku. 

But he clearly decided that he doesn't want to be here. I only want player who commit to be here. This is is the kind of precedence that I don't want us to have.  

If you allow him to fight his way back into the team. A lot people will hate this, if he is match fit Lukaku will straight away be on the bench next game.
