Not looking great so far, i don't mind how we are set up City didnt create much and we gifted them their best and only real chance. The front 3 has been awful though, wrong decisions after wrong decisions.

They have been sh*te but I guess they have no belief that he can hold on to the ball so rather than lose it they play the safe pass 10 yards backwards...it's sad to watch.

The bloke can hardly moan at the players when he is the one that f**ks it up when he receives it. He had 3 decent passes played into him at the start of the half and f**ked up every chance. I'm sick of Lukaku moaning about service only for him to cock it up when he gets it. The guy needs to sort his own game out before moaning at others.

If you want to play counter attack then use or pass to Lukaku. He can’t counter if the balls are not coming from the wings.. . Pleaseee people can’t you see Lukaku can’t do anything coz ziyech and pulisic can’t do combination with him and pulisic always head down when he have tp cross.

Actually feel a bit for Tuchel here. We were never going to threaten City with old man Azpi & slower than molasses Alonso but his hands are pretty much tied with the injuries.

He has the front three that outplayed them in last years showpiece sitting on the bench.

Being shaky defensively today he gets a pass with, going the other way is on him.

I would put Mount on for Ziyech AND Pulicic...................!!!

Yeah it really is where everything breaks down. 

The Alonso booking has really hampered us. Sarr and Alonso have struggled , Ziyech and Pulisic woeful in possession. Lukaku not holding the ball up enough though the service to him is awful. Alonso off maybe Pulisic to WB, Ziyech off  Mount/Werner + Havertz on

Sterling v Alonso, pressure on Rudiger instead of Sarr is the reason we are pinned back. 

Ziyech was awful also. 

I hope we make a change. You can’t put that group back out and expect different results. We need much more from the forward 

Every pundits all saying they need to pass to Lukaku and watch the reactions of Tuchel after natoher Ziyech bad pass.

It wasn't that bad. Very tactical. I'm sure no one expected us to come to Etihad and outplay City.  The way this game being played out reminds me our FA Cup semi-final win against City.  City has been frustrated and reduced to half chances. They are not that dominant at all.  Their chance came mostly from our mistakes following their good pressing. Next 15 minutes would be crucial to hold on and then start taking game to their half and I think we can do that. I think we still can get the better of them something like Chelsea 2 City 1.

Apart from the front three which have been lethargic, Azpi and Alonso did literally nothing up front. I can't remember they've put in a single cross in this first half...
