We absolutely SUCK at them and i'm pissed off.

Yet still we seem happy to settle for penalties all too often. A bit like England in major tournaments. We all know how it turns out. 2012 was a rare exception.

Once again I put this loss to bad in game management. TT gets a D- for me on this one, as he did in the League Cup final.  Once again he had players on the bench that could have changed the game certainly in the later stages, instead he sits on his f**king hands as does nothing....he ain't as good as you think he is...

I honestly expected us to lose in normal time but at least we showed some fight like we always somehow do against Liverpool. Sucks to lose 3 finals in a row but that's just been the type of season we've had.

Only City can stop Liverpool from getting the quadruple now.

I think we could’ve gotten a win in extra time if we put on Werner instead of RLC and just went for it

rlc as a striker, oh he doesn't know what to do as he's never played there before, sub again, ffs.

For me today Pulisic was disappointing as he had the ball the most time in dangerous positions yet could not capitalise. 

Chalobah had one shaky moment early on yet was ok.

James for me was probably our best player.

Disagree. Kovacic was dead on his feet and had to come off. Kante the obvious option. RLC you could argue should have been Werner but Werner  let's be honest, is a bit sh*t. Azpilicueta coming on made sense as Chalobah looked nervous and had made mistakes. Barkley was brought on purely to take a penalty and he scored it. And nothing wrong with the Ziyech switch.

 

So for me only the non Werner is properly debatable.

it's not just the finals but even leageue matches and the supercup against liverpool, we more than match them but end up drawing or losing.

Doing the same thing and expecting a different result, the definition of insanity. And people still actually believe that Werner isn’t 100% useless and that playing him would have a positive outcome.

Honestly I'm not even mad.  Now that in itself bothers me, but have come to expect this nonsense.  

Time for a new chapter.  Let's move forward and not dwell on this.  We know this team needs deep improvement.
