Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea

Featured Replies

Looks a class player I know people have reservations another coming from the Bundesliga but his talent is clear, far better technically than Werner.

Also liked the look of Leao last night gives off Thierry Henry vibes for me, but can see us being put off by his lack of pressing and attitude at times when he was standing still.

even better because it’s against Celtic

You can notice pretty fast how deep they defend and how much space they have when they scored, those counter-attacks happen for us nearly as often.

With that said it's also obvious that he is a good player, the question is where would he fit best for us?

I think he has Electric pace, when I’ve seen him before

But he is technically better than Werner and he has more vision and is a more creative player, he can also give a defense splitting pass. He can decide a game on his own with one brilliant action.

Wow he has everything in his gsme that Mbappe has, such a good footballer as well, massive game IQ for his age

Hmm, except the one thing that make mbappe so terrifying.

I like Nkunku, which is just as well since I think it can only mean one thing if the claims of a medical having been completed are true.

If the deal is not to be sealed until summer 2023 then any medical the player passed in summer 2022 will no longer be valid and would therefore have to be re-done. That would make the rumoured medical illogical since it makes no sense to carry out a pointless medical. The only way a medical would have been necessary is if a formal arrangement was agreed and signed within the validity of that medical.

If anyone knows why my logic might be faulty here then I'd welcome a correction but, otherwise, I'm sticking to my belief that Nkunku is already a Chelsea player from 2023.

Chelsea are close to reach an agreement with RB Leipzig for Christopher Nkunku. The player is expected to join the Blues in January for a deal worth €75m + bonuses.

@JacobSteinberg

I assume that is January with a loan back for the season?

They are second in their CL group with every chances of qualifying so why would they let him go in Jan?
