I said 55m is too expensive. Nope I change my mind. If I have to watch game like yesterday for another 50 times next season, at least give me smash ball.

I'd be happy if he kept smashing balls this season!

Massive upgrade on Alonso. We deserve this signing after watching Alonso for 6 years.

When Cucerella scores multiple goals against Spurs, including knocking out their defender when scoring, then we can talk. In the interim, I prefer to respect the huge contribution Marcos has made to the club.

He doesnt need to score VS Spurs. He needs to be able to defend, and if he does that he's already a huge upgrade.

Very impressed with what I've seen so far. Love his character. He let Romero get away with it a bit after the hair pulling as he got up relatively quickly with little complaint. If he'd stayed down we might have got the sending off.

We all saw it, all the officials, everyone watching on TV, the officals have OK'd it, they are allowing it, so expect it to happen again, little tugs of hair will be rampant at corners, the game is run by buffoons, they literally have no clue how to officiate, it's so obviously a red card, but no they can't admit it.

let's target Luke Ayling next game

Although Koulibaly rightly gets the credit for his goal against Spurs I was amazed the commentators didn't give more praise to Cucurella's corner which was pretty much perfect for Koulibaly to hit. If he keeps hitting dead balls and crosses like that we will score a few more goals this season even with our useless forwards.

You all wait, as soon as Haarland gets a ponytail tug this week, the ref will act and suddenly a new rule will get ushered in…. Much like that ‘special’ license we were granted during the sanctions.

They just make this sh*t up as they go along to suit them!

Same as when the FA kept apologising to opposition teams for Refs getting wrong decisions against us, I`m sure we`ll get one now too.

Ain't that the truth !

It's not corruption or match fixing, it's unconscious or conscious bias, it's rampant amongst some of the supposed top officials in the country, it'll continue until they are held to account for blatant mismanagement of matches. VAR had the video evidence and decided it wasn't a red, because the ball had gone out for another corner after the thuggery, VAR had plenty of time to ask the ref to go the monitor and check it, but Mike Dean knew, if he had done that, it would be certain that Taylor would have sent him off. This power VAR has to send or not send the ref to the monitor is not acceptable, because the refs always agree with VAR, they never go against them, so VAR always knows the outcome, Mike Dean must have an hard on every game he's on VAR, all that power, and not accountable, he's not even at the game.

The only answer is AI, i cant trust AI more than these buffoons.

What a nice bloke. Gave a really good impression of him in that interview. Not able to express himself in English fully..I like him not being stuck in that hair pull. Just said bad decision but it happens. Brings positivity to the group I am sure.

I disagree - I think we, managers and players, should be taking every opportunity to raise the injustice in the strongest terms.

He is entitled to say some decisions are good and some are bad, but he should really be condemning this particular decision. For me, he should be saying that hair pulling is cowardly, and real men don't carry out such assaults. He should be questioning the sportsmanship of players who pull hair, and taking the opportunity to say in the strongest terms that hair pulling is not allowed in the game, and that it is violent conduct.

Behind closed doors he / we should move on....but that doesn't mean we should take the pressure off in public.
