Nice quick read

2 games in cucurella has shown that he is a better passer than alonso and chilwell. That is great, but we need him to get to the box more and score. 

What an odd man, he’s my new favourite. 

I like cucu but he is not a 60m player

At 20 mill or so a decent backup to Ben. At 62mill he looks a complete waste of money.

Hold on so Tuchel got his signings wrong? Thought everyone was cursing Marina for not getting him his signings. That is now Lukaku (still his signing), Cucurella, Aubameyang, Sterling looking like dodgy signings, an ageing Koulibaly on daft 5yrs contract, but fingers crossed Fofana can stay fit. 
Reckon these signings might be worse than the ones Lamps (even though everyone blames Marina) signings.

It looks like outbidding team who has unlimited amount of money is not a good idea.

Sterling is fine

Auba make absolutely no sense 

Cucu is good but not for 60m 

Koula is good but not 35m for 31 year old 

Fofana is good

Well looking on the bright side here, surely he can only get better?

The one player we should have got from Brighton was Bissouma before Tottenham signed him. 

Im not judging him to he gets a good run of games at LB or LWB, not LCB.

Same here man. When the teams are announced and we are lining up with 3 atb something inside me dies lol.

Against certain teams i don't mind, it can make sense but it shouldn't be our primary formation.

I wish we played a 4 at the back and kept with the same formation every week and tried to find chemistry and build relationships on the pitch in the team.

The whole changing formation, playing players out of position doesn't help us and just makes me uninterested at time.

With Koulibaly injured I don't see how we cannot go to a back 4.

He certainly is not a LCB

He didn't do anything wrong against Man utd. He was just the one chosen to change for the back 4 switch.

If he is not the choice for LB ahead of Ben then it appears he is not as good defensively is Ben. Which is a problem for him as he is nowhere near as good as Ben going forward.

Waste of money, City couldn't be fooled to pay that much for him.

Lets be honest, he'd be absolutely world class in that Pep system. 

Give Potter and the team some time to build something.

Currently not good enough to start over Chilwell though.

Playing him at LCD is doing him no favours. Just checked that he is even shorter than Chilwell and Azpi. 

Only position I can see him is at LB but for 60 million a reserve LB is wasted funds. Cancelo was less than that and Hakimi too which i consider both at a much higher level than Cucurella.

So not sure what we were thinking whoever wanted Cucurella!?

He's not done great when played as CB, but looked decent in his earlier games as WB. I don't really care about the transfer fee, transfer fees in modern football are too f**ked up to care about, so I see him as a decent rotation option for Chilwell, who so far has never maintained good form/fitness for a whole season as a Chelsea player.

Playing him at LCB is just suicidal, he's not a back LB or LWB, will get better given time. For me, if you don't have 3 fit CBs, you better off playing with 2 than forcing someone to learn on the job. Of course he'd do well at City, that's a team a couple of levels above us.

He did have 100% pass completion when he was subbed off ... 12/12 ... 4 short passes (5-15 yards), 5 medium passes (15-30)  and 3 long passes (30+) as per FBRef 🙂
