August 21, 20223 yr Can’t see us coming back from 2-0 down, this lot just don’t have the minerals. We create nothing and are so slow on the ball it’s ridiculous. Mendy as usual for the past year or so is sh*t and does this kind of sh*t every game and just gets away with it so it’s no surprise, if we are serious about competing he has to be moved on. Gallagher cannot play in a midfield 2 not technical enough. Jorginho useless, Kai Havertz honestly think Lukaku offers more than him. f**king earn your money Tommy T! Sort this sh*t out.
August 21, 20223 yr I don't give a f about our offensive player. We need to break their press, only by doing that we can slow the game down and play. We no longer have any big guy up top so we can't just play long ball. So we need our midfield and cb to be brave. Either pass it forrward or dribble it forward. I will consider subbing Gallagher for cho and play ruben in the middle.
August 21, 20223 yr Mendy costs us too many goals IMO. Being in goal for Chelsea is not one of the most overworked goalkeeper jobs but we concede too high a percentage of goals from the actual chances we give away. I’m genuinely worried about him now. He’s becoming a liability.

If he hadn’t won the CL there’s every chance he’d have been sacked already. What are you talking about?! Even without a CL tropy he handled the sanction so well and you really think we could compete head to head with City and Pool?!

August 21, 20223 yr I would like to see a change in formation. In all honesty, I am tired of the 3 at the back, it's a detriment to our attack and when our midfield is looking as bad as this, we don't have much of a chance at getting anything out of a game.

I've said it for years, we have no muscle in midfield and no-one that can hit a killer pass. We have a weak underbelly against aggressive teams. Spurs last week were passive and sat back played on the counter, Leeds / Brentford and a few others will just get in your face from the kick off. Honestly if we have Kante and Kova. I say good luck leeds pressing both of them. 👍👍
August 21, 20223 yr Our problem is the pivot. Gallagher is not press resistant and is better up the field not in defensive midifield .

August 21, 20223 yr They've run 6k more than us in that first half, that's a disgrace. At the very least you have to match their work rate, we look all at sea. Need a big change up to get anything from this one.
August 21, 20223 yr I would say Tuchel out because he hasn’t a clue, but with the worst collection of players at Stamford Bridge in over quarter of a century, what could anyone do? Brighton and Palace players, another comedy goalkeeper, the most goal shy forwards playing anywhere in Europe. And off field management in both the old and new regimes that couldn’t sign a half decent player to save their children’s lives. Out transfer spending is like me going to Tesco with 500 quid and starving to death inside week. I predicted a one all draw where we dominated possession. I never thought I’d become an optimist!

August 21, 20223 yr Havertz is not a striker. Actually, on current form I'm not even sure he's a footballer. Edited August 21, 20223 yr by abramovich

August 21, 20223 yr Too many players playing out position. James is not a centre back, Ruben is not a right winger, Gallagher can’t play as a pair in the middle, Havertz is not a striker, Sterling is a winger. What a mess. Were getting overrun in the middle! Put Ruben in there and switch to a 433. Enough of this 523 nonsense.
August 21, 20223 yr Can't see how can our frontline score a goal. We once again needed a full-back, in this case Cucurella to bring us back into the match. The teams around us score goals much more easy and apparently the 3 at the back are conceding goals after crosses, first against Spurs now this.
August 21, 20223 yr I think TT got the tactics spot on last week sadly, this week not so much. No way you blame him for Mendy or the set piece goal. Yet Leeds do look the better side. We started well but after the first 10mins we lost the fluidity attacking spark and reverted back to our type. We didn't react when they started taking control. They deserve to be in front, now we need him TT use those half time changes we know he has in him to try and turn this game around. We need a goalscorer so Ziyech or Pulisic off the bench the midfield needs some sort of a revamp and Havertz/Mount have been pretty anonymous this game. Sterling looks good though getting him more chances could be a deciding factor
August 21, 20223 yr I didn't think we were that bad until the goal. Mendy is an absolute liability though, he consistently makes mistakes when in possession or being passed back to, so why do they pass back to him?! Or at least Tuchel tell the idiot to just kick it out! Also would be so nice to actually play with a proper CF, fed up of seeing Havertz up top scoring zero goals, barely any assists, not sure what people saw in him apart from 2 goals in 2 finals. Aubameyang for a year or two is better than nothing!

We have been shoe-horning him into the side since he arrived because we still can't work out what his best position is. The only position he can play in in a back 3 system is false 9, and even from there he is more miss than hit.
August 21, 20223 yr f**k me you would have thought Mendy would have learned by now. How many times FFS? I would banish him to the reserves for that alone. Aboslutely shocking and now our heads have dropped and that is largely down to that Mendy f**k-up. Fair play to Leeds. They are showing plenty of fight and energy. Same can't be said for Havertz who appears to be having a day off. COME ON CHELSEA FFS!!!
