He is not Baka and he certainly is not slow but it appears that way as italian football is slow. I think he will improve us tremendously and am delighted with this signing.

Tbh I’m relieved we’ve signed a midfielder, we were desperately short. It’s obvious Tuchel never will play Gilmour and that’s really disappointing but it is what it is.

Be the third MF we sign this summer, still doesn't look like the fix to our problems. However, if it's a loan deal, get whatever we could at this stage, and tackle the long term issue in the next couple of windows.

I would have ignored this rubbish if you had not mentioned a top LB in your post.. remind us again when Cucurella became a top LB. Is it when he played in Madrid or Bayern, .. 2 of the best midfielders where? None who could be called on to deputize for the injured duo of Kante and Kovacic? Something must be seriously wrong with your rating metrics to call Carney( who is not a regular starter as Aston Villa) and Casaddei ( who couldn't lead the under 21 to victory against a tiny no name club and got sent off ) as 2 of the best...  Give yourself a pat on the back identifying one of the highest goal scored in the last 10 years and get back to us we you ve rated him against our competitors forwards this season in either England or the CL and revert.

He had one injury at Juve and seems to have shown a lot of promise despite Allegri playing him out of position. Maybe calm your farm.

Welcome Denis! Good work by Todd considering TT only decided a few days back we actually did need a midfielder.

So will Denis be more of a Mikel? A Ramires? A Essien!!! Or a Bakayoko...:(

Zakaria. Was a promising name when Juve got him last January. They paid 30m

But then Juve, who are somewhat desperate for good play in midfield, gave him only 2 appearances and are willing to let him go after half a season? There's also an injury in there somewhere and this feels like its NOT going to be the answer we're looking for... But could he be any worse than Saul?

Almost a risk free signing, if he's doing a Saul, send him back. We need that bite in midfield, hopefully he doesn't carry a sore jaw or ankle

He was running his contract down when Juve decided to splash 30M because they wanted to avoid competition.. unfortunately he had an ACL and did his knee.. since then he has a few knocks here and there.. but if he can be anything like what he was before his injury then we have a serious player.

Very risky one. Not sure we should be signing players in this position who we hope can recover their form. We did that with Saul last season and that was painful to watch. It’s been obvious we’ve needed a defensive midfielder for a couple of seasons and I’m just amazed we gambled everything again on the fitness of Kovacic and Kante. I think we’ve screwed up really badly and it’s going to cost us. 

He's pretty solid defensively from what I've seen so I'm just glad to have someone who will just sit in the middle and win tackles.
