Wrong in at least two respects. 🙂

Are we confident that we can protect our goal by parking the bus? I must say that, at the moment, it looks like we need to score at least once to have any hope of securing even a draw. 🙁

When Ali put his 'rope-a-dope' tactic into effect, Frazier was sat at home hoping the Louisville Lip would get his block knocked off. 🙂

Yikes. Foreman not Frasier. . .. What brutal boxers though and Norton as well. !.

Oh forget about systems, let's play Total Football  !!

This is a game tailor made for your top quality "sit and stay" defensive midfielder to show their worth. Sit, stay, protect your back line. Job done.

Agree with that. Think the smartest thing to do for tomorrow is overload the midfield to win that battle. So i would go with Kovacic, Mount, Gallagher and Jorginho all on the field.

We are on a run of four games in the league though where Potter have scrambled to switch formations at half time or before. If that happens again tomorrow there is simply no excuse. So players need to step up here but the manager is who needs to step up the most tbh.

Not confident at all about this game unfortunately.

As well as the form of the 2 teams involved the difference with injuries is staggering, they’ve got more or less a fully fit squad whilst our injuries are crazy at the moment.

I’d secretly take a draw, I think losing and going 13 points behind them would be game over as far as I’m concerned and that would be essentially 2 Champions League spaces gone leaving only 2 up for grabs.

Not confident and honestly not really bothered. For the first time in a long while, we are not at the level ready to take on Arsenal on current form. We have multiple good players out injured and a lot of underperformers.

I'd very much appreciate a 0-0 or 1-1 result.

I'm not sure I can see us getting the 3 points. At best a draw given the circumstances around injuries and domestic form. As long as we show passion and the will to win, I will be happy. I don't think many people expect much from this game anyway, so just putting on a good performance is all we ask, and if we get a good result than amazing.

I'm fearing the worst. I expect most of us are.

Taking into account the games against Brentford, United and Brighton…we really do need a convincing win. Otherwise we’ll be 4 PL games without a win and facing Saudi Arabia away next. It will be tough given the injuries.

Are we Murca home?

After Brighton's win today we're now down to 7th, one place below Brighton on goal difference with one game in hand. If we lose tomorrow, being behind Brighton, same number of games played, will be a bit embarrassing for Potter and Boehly ... fixable in the medium term I'm sure, but embarrassing all the same ...

You mean WHEN we lose tomorrow right? 😉

To much negativity on here!

Arsenal at home and a chance to knock them off top spot, we will be up for this!

let’s just hope the fans in the ground get behind the team a bit more than those on here.

We will start up for it, then crumble once we encounter resistance imo.

Of course Liverpool get the 4:30 kick off and in a massive game like this, London derby we get knob jockeyed off to 12:00

BT and Sky decided those ko times and the games in the time slots

BT moved our game from 12.30 Saturday to 12 Sunday..  It's the price we pay for TV cash

Well hopefully I am proven wrong and when I get to watch the recording the lads will put in the effort to make JT smile. Potter will produce a Jose like Masterclass, Mendy will channel prime Cech, Mason will truly look like Lamps son and Sterling will be Hazard incarnate.

🙂

For people asking about the trains. Strike was cancelled but apparently too late to sort them out for the weekend or some bullsh*t so they’re still f**ked. Essentially the RMT cancelled it and every c**t got a free weekend off so they may as well just had the strike.

District line is fine (for the slowest line in London).

The idea we might just be ‘up for it’ enough would have more credence if it wasn’t for the insane amount of injuries we have, so that ounce of hope isn’t even applicable. It would need an otherworldly amount of missed chances from Arse or a VAR/ref disasterclass
