Potter isn't a manager you hire for a transition. He's a manager you hire to lower expectations as you decline.
February 3, 20233 yr I think Enzo was really good today. Kept everything tidy, could have done better with a better midfield partner

I think we are doing well in rebuilding the squad. It's actually more or less done. Backing an unproven manager that's proving to be a complete disaster for 5 years? That's completely alien to me.
February 3, 20233 yr We are going nowhere with Potter. That is probably obvious to everyone by now. The sooner Boehly understands this the better for everyone, including players, before Potter ruins their confidence completely.
February 3, 20233 yr Should have burried atleast one of the 3 big chances that fell to havertz and Fofana.. Mount was ineffective, Ziyech outrageous.. havertz simply poor.. CC out of his depth.. Madueke very raw.. don’t know what to say.. ziyech mount and havertz have been playing together for soo long yet can’t string two passes together..
February 3, 20233 yr Big mistake starting ziyech. I get what Potter was trying to do aka put an arm around a player that is frustrated at leaving but we are long past that. We should be focusing on the actual players we bought not people that are bound to leave. Madueke and Fofana added more than ziyech and havertz all game.
February 3, 20233 yr The setup and tactics looked aweful we were so slow to move the ball I don’t understand what the gameplan was at all
February 3, 20233 yr Utter sh*t in every single aspect. Can we get the 10 extra points needed to stay?
February 3, 20233 yr A disappointing result, yet with all the new players no miracles can be expected. Some hopeful performances, some hopeless performances. Going to bed now before I start reciting A Tale of Two Cities.
February 3, 20233 yr Negatives: Cucurella, just so bad, Potters lack of in game management. Positives: Enzo, looks every bit as good as the price tag suggests.
February 3, 20233 yr f**king hell, now someone on here the signings 2 minutes ago, Vialli96 said: I dont think the signings weve made are any good anyway…none are world class players thats for certain…theyve done well in sub standard leagues…will struggle in prem…and most will end up getting loaned out. f**king hell talk about fickle fans !

He's done f**k all to change anything for the better since coming in. He's been here long enough now, there should at least be some improvement in our play. It's really frustrating that he keeps rotating the front 3.
February 3, 20233 yr No more excuses if he continues with this insipid football and I don't think he is capable of playing any kind of expansive quick football he is a goner in the summer
February 3, 20233 yr Time and belief make for a great team. Tough to build belief in the manager's vision when there are 30 players who believe they should play. Tough to get time at a place like Chelsea.

February 3, 20233 yr Another useless draw, Fulham was there for the taking but we had no idea how to attack. I get it players need time to settle in, but we have absolutely no idea how to score a goal. I mean how we are going to construct a goal , play neat touches through the middle, long early cross into the box, fullbacks overload? There's no pattern in our attack and any conviction in what we been doing, and that's been there for months. There are some really questionable selections and much worse subs in the game, again it's not a surprise, we seen that many times. I reckon it won't be long before Boehly started playing football manager with this team, after all that's every football manager wanabe's dream to have a team of 30 and make the team win. Positives are Enzo looked a good player, James played without breaking down, and Kepa is probably at his best form since joining us.

Potter's track record is impressive so far in his career. Certainly he will given time to evolve with the players. The contract is 5 years and not 5 months.
