. Kova will be off this summer, to the delight of some on here, but he will be missed.

Nice player on the eye, fast feet, good skills but has offered so little in the years he has been here in the way of goals, assists, defensive cover. Also a woeful injury history at club level.

I would be glad to see him depart in the summer.

Haven't been on here as much but I have still been watching.

I honestly don't know why other than the silly belief that with all this talent they will eventually start scoring goals and getting positive results.

I’m once again baffled by the inclusion of KK, RLC and Ziyech. They’ve had a week to prepare and he’s picked the same players that are part of the problem.

Badiashile should be playing, as should Mudryk.

Going into an away game against a top-four side with a back four and no holding midfielder seems... unwise. That said, if neither Kanté nor Zakaria are fit to start then Loftus-Cheek is probably the best equivalent we have, and has been the most effective partner to Fernández out of the available players we have seen so far.

It appears that Potter has prioritised experience (Koulibaly over Badiashile, Sterling over Mudryk, Ziyech over Madueke as well as Aubameyang on the bench over Fofana - the former's first appearance in the squad since the draw against Liverpool a month ago), in fact, the only two of the January signings to start are Fernández and Félix. I don't see how this addresses our problems in the buildup and does nothing for our long-term squad building, however Potter would undoubtedly have been criticised if he had changed nothing from the Southampton game. Somebody somewhere or other speculated that he might be trying to practice the blueprint for the Dortmund game, which is understandable considering it's only a week-and-a-half and one more game away, plus it could well be our only meaningful competitive fixture left this season in terms of actually trying to win something. If it works, I doubt anybody will be complaining.

If 'win at all costs' were the order of the day (as I suppose it always should be when we play Tottenham), I might have been tempted to go for a back three considering our current glut of available centre-backs and its good recent record against Tottenham; the template could also then be carried into the Dortmund game.

Who knows? Come on Chels, let's do these bar stewards! If we beat them, we're only eight points behind them with a game in hand.

Most consistently good player over three seasons. We have nobody better on the ball. Anyway, you’ll get what you wish for. Time will tell if that turns out to be better or not.

Ziyech and Koulibaly are surprising picks but the other 9 players are pretty much what you would expect.

I guess it's the sort of line up which facilitates the "bad pre-season" excuse, seeing as 8 of the starting 11 were on the US Tour !

Have to miss this game live and catch it later...looking at the line up I'm not hoping much. Why has he put Ziyech, RLC and Koulibaly back in when the better players are sat on the bench....why am I not shocked Graham. Ziyech was out the door in January, RLC was earmarked also and Koulibaly won't beat anyone in a foot race.  No more excuses any loss today and it's purely down to Potter.

To be fair, Fofana usually plays on the right side of the CB area. Still, it's puzzling to see KK starting over Badiashile.

Silva can play both right and left.

I was optimistic before seeing the line up. They had a week to prepare. I’m starting to think he might just be incompetent.

I seriously think we need to bring in an interim manager till the end of the season, if for no other reason, to keep us out of a relegation dogfight come April/May. While that might seem a daft statement I remember a similar situation in 1974/75 when we got relegated on the last day of the season. The way we're going I just can't see where the next win is coming from never mind the 5 or 6 that we need to guarantee safety.

At least no matter how this one goes we started the game in 10th and will be in 10th come game end. Well on course for a 9th place finish come end of season.

Here we go again then. Don't know why I put myself through this every week.

It's love @Zeta, it's love.

Not wearing my lucky pants, not taking any more chances here.
