Thought this snippet from the latest Athletic article was very interesting. If its true he's basically told them the structure is sh*t and he wants to take control. Reports still say its imminent but will the owners really go for this after putting that structure in place in the first place?

"Pochettino has been making some difficult demands from Chelsea before putting pen to paper as their next coach. Many of those demands are not necessarily money-related.

According to sources, Pochettino doesn't want Chelsea co-owners storming his dressing room. He also wants complete control over transfers and player development. These are almost identical demands Thomas Tuchel made before being shown the Chelsea door."

The Athletic? Often so much waffle. The podcast, Straight Outa Cobham, is a depressing listen. Lots of waffle, zero actual criticism of that which needs criticising - amongst other things, the ownership and their catastrophic efforts. Almost as though their "experts" are afraid of getting on the wrong side of authority.

Same with London is Blue Podcast. Just a tough listen.

Not liking these rumours about Pochettino wanting Lukaku and Felix in next seasons squad. Would instantly nullify the main pre of his tactics (pressing).

Put them together with Sterling in his front 3 system, or bring in Neymar, and you have the highest paid, laziest and most overrated front 3 ever assembled.

That a boy Todd!

A  Lilly white in charge at the bridge is not expectable  😠 simple fact you can mess with a lot of things but  our History is born into us and its what give us our identity and if you try to mess with it you will lose   I  will never except a spurs man

Did you accepts Hoddle?  The man that started the revolution at Stamford Bridge?

When Benitez was put in charge I refused to go to any matches including the Europa League final in Amsterdam when I was offered a ticket. That bloke should never have been allowed anywhere near our club. Somethings are more important than results on a football pitch.

I hate Spurs as much as anybody but lets be honest if we became Premier League champions and Champions League winners under him his Spurs connection will soon be forgotten!  In fact I'd take 'top 4' under him right now, I'd rather be 'top 4' and competing with an ex Spurs manager than fighting relegation watching 'dross' like we're seeing now under somebody else!

Hoddle was a superb manager, who started the positive changes at Chelsea in '93, if England hadn't come calling, he would probably have gone on to win the lot with us !!

Coombsie, Hoddle had a worse win percentage for us than Potter!

Don't get me wrong Droyman. I'm not set against Pochettino coming here the way I was with the fat waiter.

There is the exquisite possibility of being able to rip the holy piss out of every Tottenham fan alive if he was able to be successful and win trophies as our manager.

We've had a Lilly white in charge at the Bridge before mate.

And plenty of their players in our teams too.

The stuff about losing our identity is bonkers .

To be fair Just, he didn't have a £600m squad but had to work with the likes of Burley, Cascarino and David (Rodders) Lee!

Got us playing some decent football though - especially when we signed Gullit.

Cascarino would definitely get in the starting lineup now!

If it wasn't for the embarassment of getting another Brighton coach, De Zerbi would have been considered much more seriously. The football Brighton are playing is amazing.

Even after dropping key players they still smashed Wolves 6-0, it's clear they aren't being carried by player quality. He's genuinely an elite coach.

Most shots against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge ever, even if you take into account how sh*t we are that's still ridiculous. City, Barca, Real and Flick's Bayern couldn't manage that

Eddie Howe has a bang average Newcastle team in top four ffs. This season is proper weird.

Think Eddie Howe is quality as well, Bournemouth were a league 1 club yet he kept them in the Prem for years playing great football. Also Bruno Guimares is one of the best midfielders in the prem
