We can probably expect other sort of investments from him as well. He's being smart with his money and will quite literally set his future generation forever with this kind of planning. Well I haven't heard about Kante buying a football club, but I understand he is looking to part-exchange his Mini for a Vauxhall Mokka.
June 15, 20233 yr Hope Pochettino settles his First XI fast, I don't want to see 10 games of rotating the starting lineup

It's been known to happen.
June 16, 20233 yr I'm sure I read he had resumed training before the end of the season. Edit: https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-news-broja-injury-return-date-b1079998.html Edited June 16, 20233 yr by Backbiter

I think sometimes with ACL injuries it's tough to tell if the player is still as explosive until they're back on the pitch in a real match. It's as much a test of the player trusting that they wont get hurt again as it is about the actual recovery of the ligament
June 16, 20233 yr Have to say with all the talk of leaving and incoming players our next seasons starting 11 could be pretty much a changed side. It could be something like: Onana James - Fofana - Badiashile - Chilwell Enzo - Caicedo Madueke - Nkunku - Mudryk Nicolas Jackson OR Maignan James - Silva - Badiashile - Chilwell Enzo - Caicedo - Mount Madueke - Nkunku - Sterling

Rudiger lost both and still remained fast. It's more of a mental thing at this point
June 16, 20233 yr Anyone who seriously has Madeuke and Mudyrk to start over Sterling on the wing next season are even sorely disrespecting Sterling as a winger or and I mean this in the nicest way possible lack understanding of elite football. Both these wingers are raw, to think they would be more likely to have us back in top 4 than Sterling is just unrealistic. In terms of attackers the first names on Pochettino's teamsheet will be Nkunku and Sterling. They will either play either wing in a 433 or 4231 or Nkunku as a 10 and Sterling on the left or right. I understand some people don't like him but he finished top goalscorer I'm his worst season not that the bar was very high to be top goalscorer but let's be realistic.

Relying on Mudryk and Madueke as starters isn't the best approach. Also, Nkunku in midfield is questionable. Not sure how his defensive contributions are and if they can be coached by Pochettino. Even then, Caicedo and Enzo together doesn't fill me with confidence given what we saw with Enzo + Kante together. Team needs a traditional defensive minded midfielder that frees up the two so they can work on their strengths.

Well...you have Sterling...Pulisic, Ziyech and Ruben are leaving most likely. If Kai or Mount stays one of them could feature on the wing. In short Sterling was an absolute mess being a 30 year old Premier League superstar. Mudryk is the future. Madueke and him are raw but if we are playing with wingers this is what you have.
