Oh - and to answer the question, you don’t owe me anything…

…a simple acknowledgment that I am always right, even when I it looks like I am wrong, will suffice…. 😇🙏

Sounds like the rules in my house! Rule #1 - the better half is always right. Rule #2 - if she happens to be wrong, consult rule #1.

That's the bit of the marriage contract they hide from you....

Dog sh*t poor today, let us all down badly. He's a good bench option for next season but we badly need a decent, proper striker.

What has he done when starting - to convince you that he is a good bench option?

He is a poor football player. This doesn’t change just because he sits in the dugout.

I’m honestly crossing over to the idea that he isn’t, and from what I’ve seen I wouldn’t be surprised if he believes he’s better than being a squad option.

He's put in some decent performances from time to time, especially early this season. Also scores more goals than most of the impotent no hopers in our squad. Also versatile and can do a job anywhere across the front line.

Yeah he's been poor since he came back from injury. Today was really poor.

He had a good game against west ham, a decent 10 mins against Leicester and 2 good runs in the first game against newcastle. Those were the extent of his early season contributions. He also scored the winner against Everton a couple of weeks ago. He has been appallingly bad in every other game.

More than what he offers (or doesn’t) on the pitch, is the mindset. He is clearly brain dead - and we need a backup striker who can come on a be relied upon to do a job, change games for the better, keep calm and win games in high pressure situations etc. Jackson has never done anything to suggest he is that man.

He would stink up the place as a bench option. Nkunku 2.0 but with an attitude to boot

No football brain and today no brain at all.

This is the big thing for me, he's absolutely useless in the air, misses easy chances but the fact he has no football brain effects every single part of his game.

He has no chance of ever being a top level footballer when he's that dumb.

His temperament lets him down more than his lack talent. We’ve seen it from his first few games and today he’s been a complete Berkshire and let down his team mates, and us lot to boot. Has perhaps cost the morons that put faith in him over 100 mill pounds in desperately needed CL revenue - there’s something deliciously ironic about that if I’m honest.

He’ll be back for the final, club will not make a statement and omit him from the squad because the board member that binned MP and CG and brought in the mug manager and didn’t see why this 🫏 is not and never will be fit for purpose as an EPL elite striker needs to save face, 6th and conference league again is hardly progress. So a 🏆 no matter how Mickey 🐭 is I progress and gets us in the Europa League which I suppose is progression just about .

Don't really get all the hate for Jackson today. Hasn't he done the honourable thing by falling on his sword and denying Maresca the opportunity to select him in our pivotal two PL games to decide whether we participate in the 25/26 Champions League ? He's clearly been following this thread closely, and heeding the advice that we are a better team without him ? A MotM performance if ever there was one !

We have 3 games left to secure Champions league football next season. The team have played with Jackson as centre forward for most of the season and people saying we should experiment for the last 3 games.

I agree that on his day Jackson can be of imperceptible utility but the shape and tactics of the team and his role within it is what has got us here and to start experimenting at this point in the season would be mad.

Oh the irony..................................................

After today, I really never want to see Jackson start another game for us.

I REALLY hope he’s out of the European game now

Fecker deserves that

Too right.

Unfortunately he is Maresca's main man so you know he will start.
