If he plays on the right against Arsenal it could be open season in transition (with Zinchenko caught in the middle).

Nothing I'd love more than to see Gabriel get isolated and torn to pieces after his classless celebration infront of Auba last season.

He's an incredibly intelligent player for such a young kid, always moving into space, always available for a pass and is on the half turn when receiving the ball. Last player I remember finding space and time so easily for us was Ruud, I don't know how but they make it look so effortless.

Brilliant second half performance, much more like it. Sterling superb proving any doubters wrong.

It is competition, starting to get genuine competitors in forward positions,

For me Sterling played much better too.

Doubters like me will always praise him when he does well. He's still maddeningly inconsistent, as he was between the first and second half. Did brilliantly for all three second half goals.

Second half was amazing. Three awesome wins on the trot with mainly brilliant football. I am now in absolutely no doubt whatsoever that we will finish in the top four. With Nkunku to come back, can we actually win the title??!

Who are you?

When was the last time we scored 4 in a game

Probably when we battered Southampton.

Aside from Cucurella who was his usual atrocious self that was one of the best team performances I’ve seen since those Dortmund games, maybe the Liverpool 2nd half to start the season?

Sterling took the game by the scruff of the neck and was unplayable, Palmer is looking to be what we always thoughts Havertz could’ve been.

Really pleased with todays win. If you’d not seen the score and reacted to the commentators you’d have thought we lost.

As it stands, a comfortable 4-1 away win. Room for improvement, and what a great thing to say after a 4-1 win. Particularly pleased that after going behind we came back - these moments all add character and belief.

Very good performance in the end, nice to get 3 wins on the spin, although unfortunately it's just before a lot of the players depart for international duty.

The next month will be a real tough test but a couple of important victories here and there could give this young team the confidence to turn the season around.

Dreadful first half. Lots of possession but not much to show for it. We got a lucky break with the own goal and regrouped at half time. Jackson replaced a disappointing Broja and we looked more dynamic upfront. Sterling started to click. Palmer had some neat touches and scored the crucial penalty. Caicedo and Gallagher were excellent. Disasi was solid at the back.

A comfortable win in the end and will do the confidence a lot of good. But we’ll need to start a lot better going into a tough run of games. Enzo will need to up his game too as he was a bit subdued and he definitely needs to work on his finishing!

Cucurella wasn't bad today.

The cheap point scoring has gotten out of control on here of late. Everybody looking to one up each other.

Exactly. Criticising Broja after 45 minutes of play seems to be popular atm.

I expected really. If we turned it on in the second half, which we did, would be blamed on Broja for us being poor the first half.

Give the devil his due Sterling was unplayable today. Brilliant, as he was vs Luton.

This is what he needs to produced on a regular basis. This is what we need of him. He needs to have the consistency of a Silva. He has tons of experience and clearly physically he still is at a very top level. So we need this level of display, or close to it regularly. If we get it 8 times out of 10 the other 2 will be forgiven easily, as it is we get 2 out of 10 that are like this and the others are poor and that is not enough from a player of his ability.

Personally thought it was an average performance bar Steling and Caicedo. Just as we have lost or drawn games with good performances this was one where we scored lots of goals but played not very well. For me It confirmed some negatives and a few positives.

On the negatives: Poch's team selections aren't mine. There was no way Broja should have started nor Maatsen should be played so far out of position when he eventually gets on. Silva shouldn't be starting and Colwill is wasted at left back. Most of all the three midfielders don't have enough creativity in them. They are each worth starting but only two of them should be.

In my view Palmer doesn't have enough pace to play wide right and to my thinking would be better in a no 10 role. I suppose Duff and Joe Cole didn't have that much pace either but Palmer won't be beating anyone on the outside.

On the positives. Jackson looked like a striker and his goal was well taken. Sterling is showing the class that has given him a career with top clubs.

I'd like to have seen Mudryck on from the start, Maatsen at left back Palmer in the centre of the midfield 3 and Silva moved to the bench.

On the form last night its Enzo I would have benched. For mine Gallagher is offering more than Enzo just now.

I think the team still has far more to offer than what we are showing but can't complain about the points.

When was the last time we came from behind to win a match?

In any competition, it was when we defeated Wimbledon in the League Cup 2-1 a few weeks earlier.

In the PL, October last year when we defeated Crystal Palace 2-1. Potter’s first win as coach.

Southampton away in April 2022, when we won 6-0.
