Problem is they are not natural fullbacks so they are used to playing in the centre of the box not on the outsides..I'm sure Newcastle will exploit both right and left sides.

Even when we have had Chilwell and James, the same thing has been happening though. Same with Gusto and Cucurella.

God I hate the commentators and how biased they are towards the other team. In no way did Colwill have any malice in that tackle, the Newcastle player recklessly flew in there.

In other news, what a shocking half of football.

Not so sure about that. I thought he may have left his foot in.

When you win and the team is functioning you can win even if the other team controlled basically the entire game.

Badiashile made a horrible error and Wilson finished it perfectly. I bet if that was other way around our striker wouldn't finish that with such brilliance.

We are years away from what they have.

Jackson going backwards and shooting. Just not a bright decision maker

just look in his eyes and body language, reminds me of a mismatched boxer that knows he shouldn't be in a boxing ring, but on a basketball court or running track

Just heard this is Broja's 30th game for us. he's scored 2 goals and one of them was basically an own goal.

If he's at the club by the 2nd of January someone's failed at their job.

Probably the f**ker who thought it was reasonable to go into a season with him and Jackson

He'll be injured anyway by then I expect

How many starts?

EDIT: I like Broja, just give him a run of games for Christ sake. It’s clear he has natural ability.

What do you expect with 10 players out injured ? This is the 6th game this season when we can only make up the full complement of subs by including two keepers ...

I expect more than this with a billion pounds spent. Not in quarter of a century, even with a long injury list have we fielded this weak a selection of players. The injuries, young, project excuses are wearing very thin.

Two bad mistakes led to their goal. Gutting because we have been the better team by far.

Yes, with one shot of any real intent on target. I just don't understand the disinclination to shoot by this team. It's ridiculous

Actually think we have played okay. 1 really poor mistake, and then we miss our big chance to equalize.

That being said, I think we are completely wasting Enzo using him as high as did, and Disasi and Colwill at full back is too defensive.

Caicedo has been really good again.

Watching current Chelsea is like performing an act of self-flagellation in a devout hope that footballing Gods one day will look down favourably on us for our self-inflicted pain and commitment.

I think they let us have the ball TBH...they know we ain't doing nothing with or without it...

You've said this a few times now. In no way was his loan at Southampton a flop. It was his first season at this level of the game.

He scored 6 goals in a season, was on a 4/5? Month goal drought and the Hassenhuttle was publically saying he wasn't good enough and his level had dropped massively after a bright start.

Certainly wasn't a loan spell earned him a spot in a Chelsea squad.

Just saw the goal again. No words. Just take your pick of which f**k up is worse. Colwill’s, Silva’s, or Badiashiles’s.

It's hard to watch it with a straight face though  , even though it's a f**king shocker
