What a sh*tty goal to allow...I just lost count how many of those we let in lately....We still in it and we playing OK. Just need a bit more of cutting edge and finishing, but I guess its too much to ask from these players.

Just heard this is Broja's 30th game for us. he's scored 2 goals and one of them was basically an own goal.

If he's at the club by the 2nd of January someone's failed at their job.

Broja has only had 6 starts for us, and has played 718 minutes in total. Never played a full 90 in any "appearance".

Stating "he's made 30 appearances" is a bit dis-ingenuous to say the least. Especially as I'm sure you know very well how few starts he's actually had .... 🙂

How many starts?

EDIT: I like Broja, just give him a run of games for Christ sake. It’s clear he has natural ability.

I get it, but every professional footballer has natural ability, you can't be a pro without it. Paul Mullin at Wrexham has natural ability. What has Broja got to warrant playing for PL club with trophy aspirations.  That's a hoot I know at the moment

4 CBs…the only one good on the ball is 39

Midfield lacking invention

CFs that can’t shoot

10 men to break down…thinking we’ve more chance of shagging Princess of Wales than scoring at the Bridge

Watching current Chelsea is like performing an act of self-flagellation in a devout hope that footballing Gods one day will look down favourably on us for our self-inflicted pain and commitment.

Will he / she be using VAR to take a good long look...that's the question

He scored 6 goals in a season, was on a 4/5? Month goal drought and the Hassenhuttle was publically saying he wasn't good enough and his level had dropped massively after a bright start.

Certainly wasn't a loan spell earned him a spot in a Chelsea squad.

Will you shut up at some point, you scouse muppet?

Sky sports is like Newcastle TV. Embarrassing. Why is there no Chelsea representative on there?

Probably gone down to warm up due to our ever growing injury list

I didn't know that but it's 6 too many.

We're a football club and given what we spend we should be a top one,  starts have to be earned not given and there isn't one point in Broja's career he's looked like he should be playing for a top club.

He's clearly just not that calibre of prospect but I suspect he'll have a good career at a championship/relegation battling side.

Silva is in a different league to all the others - it's embarrassing.

That said, think Colwill should partner him at CB. Let's stop pissing about playing him as a full back FFS.

very hard to compare these teams. Newcastle basically a bunch of journey-men players, no big contract signings, no big names but hard work and organisation and they have won or drawn 75 of their last 100 games under Howe - won 50 of those

I think you tend to get that from any team in the North especially from if the player is a local and if they are not they get pulled into shape, all hard working, the money is secondary unlike most of the softies from the South.....well Millwall might be an exception to the rule, although they are sh*te at the moment.

Didn’t Karen Carney play for Chelsea?

That is a very common thing to see from a player who is playing their first season at such a high level. Hasenhutle's public comments are just sh*t man management of a young player. Tammy Abraham was similar after his first loan in the Premier League with Swansea, and he looked massively out of his depth at the time, a lot more than Broja ever did.

I think the reaction to the first half is more steeped in the season so far rather than the 45 minutes we've just seen. Yes it was a howler of a goal to concede but we haven't been nearly as bad as being made out. Not fabulous but far from awful and certainly the better team.

Unfortunately we have two strikers who never look like scoring and that creates confidence in the defenders dealing with them

Your commenting is garbage. However I'm happy to read it and look forward to when you are proved wrong. Keep coming with negative bull*** it reminds me of Trump or Putin or various other people's garbage I read to understand how other people think. Keep it coming.

Probably our best chance in winning silverware and qualifying for Europe.

Just as about as much chance of Spurs winning the league

I don't know why people on here even engage with @Whats_The_Mata?. Never has anything positive to say. Never shows up on here when we play well or get a good result. He is so obviously a troll. Jamie Carragher is a bigger Chelsea supporter than he is.
