Yes - I thought that was a great opportunity to seal it with a third goal.

I can only assume Connor was not fully aware that we were outnumbering them cause I believe most people would have made that pass in behind for a third goal.

Madueke has to be a starter going forwards.

And probably not long until Lavia starts ahead of Caciedo

Agree about noni but disagree about lavia replacing calceido. Calceido clearly would play better further up the field and lavia deeper rather than them being direct replacements for each other.

Can't understand why he has been frozen out. May not be the answer, but who has been out of the players we have? Nobody in that squad should be frozen out when nobody else has stepped up.

I was wondering the same. Do you think something like this would work?

Nkunku

Misha - Palmer - Noni

Gusto impressed again. He’s young, but clear MoM for me and a player I trust. Well played.

Mention for Mudryk, Madueke, Nkunku, Petrovic and Lavia - nice to finally see him.

Conor is just too slow on the ball, but battles well.

I want to see more of Lavia and Caceido in the pivot.

Jackson, Broja, Disasi - not the strongest.

God we desperately need a competent striker. Glad to get the 3 points, but less than convincing.

Feel for Colwill having play as a LB, would rather we drop Disasi. Maybe play Colwill with Gilchrist.

Noni was really positive when he came on. Mudryk had a good game but still quite raw.

Trying to work out who should be starting gives me a migraine. I would be happy to try anything to be honest.

3 points but more than the points we should also be after signs of a team coming together. And we aren't.

The manager is doing my head in. Caicedo was up there with Rice last season and he's somehow turned him into a complete joke in our midfield.

Lol we changed half the team. It's gonna take 1 or 2 seasons.

A win!! I’m in shock.

It was a very entertaining game between two very evenly matched teams both playing for a win (with an ounce of caution) in the battle for mid table supremacy. I really enjoyed it.

Unfortunately it just can’t be argued against that Jackson is an absolutely terrible striker and Borja isn’t much better.

Nkunku does look like he has ability - thank goodness!

Lavia also gave an impression that Enzo’s poor performances and injury situation can be remedied by playing Lavia instead.

Gusto is one of very few who has managed to look consistently decent.

Wasn't impressed by Poch’s behaviour in stoppage time. Looked like a manager so concerned by his own team that he was sh*tting himself!

And finally, Gilchrist made a tackle that hints he might be the new Chopper Harris.

Anyone wonder why players (Chelsea) who are the quickest on their feet (Werner, Broja, Jackson, Mudryk) are the most ones offside? Laws of physics would predict something else.

Quick player goes vroom past slow turning player faster, passer has less time to make said pass. Player going vroom is then offside.

Great game from Gusto, I think he should start for us even when James comes back from injury IMO

So in 4 months and will be the starter 2 games later when reece undoubtedly picks up his next injury lol

If he keeps tackling like that he will be the next one out injured for six months.

Should have smashed them in the first half.

Along with Mudryks goal he should have had 1 more, Maatsen and Nkunku both had great chances they wasted. Should have been 4 before they got back in it.

Some lovely play, first half was great to watch and we get the needed 3 points.

Job done. Some good displays in there, Gusto was really good, as was Mudryk imo.

Glad to see Lavia get on as well.
