Would help if we were 2 or 3 goals up. However with only 3 shots on target. Our goal was from a pen. We didn’t deserve to be 2/3 up. We really are toothless.

Still it’s 3 points, 4 in a row. Maybe, just maybe we can start to believe a bit and start producing confident football.

Need to be calm and stay on ground. Hard games are comming in few weeks.

Chelsea 8th in PL table

Progress?

Misleading progress....doesn't really tell the entire story...watching the games would paint another picture IMO, injuries aside.  Still very difficult to watch this team, hurts your eyes and brain at times..

Positives from today

Palmer is only 2 behind Bellingham in G/A’s this season

Chilwell and Chuk came back

Decent performance by Enzo and a rare full 90 minutes

Petrovic with a few standard saves but we haven’t seen these very often past few years!

Silva, absolutely loved his yellow card

3 points

Let’s not focus on the negatives, hopefully we’ll beat Boro next and go through to final

Don't think much of Fernandez. Like Madueke. At least he tries. Gallagher may not be the best but he's deffo not the worst. Sterling usual stuff. Good runs at defence but sometimes takes it too far when there are better options. Sorry but Broja should at least go out on loan. See nothing in him. Petrovic is miles better than Sanchez or Kepa. Palmer one of our best. Nice to see Chilly back. Gives us a bit of experience at least. Other than that uninspiring game uninspiring team. Uninspiring manager

Progress?

I’d say so, slowly Creeping up the table.  If we can go on a little run at some point Europe might not be out of the question. However most teams are yet to play.  Let’s see where we are in a week.

Even being 3-0 up isn't enough as we saw the other week.

We're above Man United and Newcastle on the ladder, at least for a few hours 🫢

I think with the tough games they have this weekend we might well stay where we are; shame, another couple of goals today would have put us in 7th on goal difference.

We're embarrassing when trying to see out wins. The whole team has a complete lack of match intelligence. Freekicks given away in dangerous positions, sloppy passes to opponents, dwelling on the ball for too long in our own half and penalty area - this is basic stuff!

Got the 3 points in the bag though, that's the main thing. And up to 8th. Need to do better though. We have it in the locker, we showed it against City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs this season.

Progress?

No. Next 3 games we'll go one draw two losses.

For me Enzo plays like a man who doesn't want to be here... hope we don't get rid of Gallagher.

Good foul by SIlva.

Think we should be starting Madueke with Palmer in the middle... Broja and Jackson don't seem to have what it takes.

3pts

We're winning off moments right now because there is nothing else good about our performances.

I agree with the moments part for sure but I think there were some pros, we controlled the game for virtually the whole game and we didn't make any stupid mistakes which tends to happen almost every game. Also seeing Enzo playing a bit closer to his natural role showed hopefully Poch is learning.

There were a ton of mistakes. So many stupid fouls given away at the end, we were caught out on the back post multiple times, then when we were trying to counter attack, every player would just waste the chance. We created pretty much nothing in the 2nd half because we were so sloppy on the ball.

I'll take the 3 points any day of the week, especially in a local derby.

Yes we still don't look convincing, but we are a pretty new young squad trying to settle and find our feet, alongside having an awful injury list that never seems to go down.

Are we top 4 in terms of quality, not yet. Are we top 6 in terms of quality, absolutely when we actually have our main squad to pick from.

If we had Chilwell, James, Chukwuemake and Nkunku available the majority of the season we wouldn't have struggled so much. Confidence plays a huge part, and that will only come with consistent access to all players.

We do need a bloody striker asap though.

It is hard to criticize a team that is finally winning, but the standards we have set demand that level of criticality.

Start with positives.  I thought Enzo had his best game for a long time, showing for the ball and looking to move things forward repeatedly.  Palmer for the only one really offering any level of match winning quality.  Petrovic - he is creating a sense of calmness in a chaotic backline, and every time he was called upon he did what you would expect.  He should be no.1 moving forward. Caceido was reasonable, but still want to see more.  And finally, welcome back Chilwell and Chukwuemeka.

The negatives.  What on earth type of performance is that?  Why does every win feel like we're holding on by the finest of margins until the 97th minute.  We have to improve, show more leadership, character, maturity, discipline and strength.  The stupid yellow cards will cost us, and the lack of composure in defending or attacking has to be addressed.  To me, all of this rests with Poch.  We have a week or so to prepare for these games, and results aside (the most important part), we're not seeing any real sense of progression.

So we won? Great!

Looks like a fair few here are unhappy with how we played?

Am guessing 4 of these 20 odd pages are TimesUp saying how sh*t Broja is?

That’s every game.
