I still think he could have done another season. Not week in week out but he is still 5 levels above our other fit centre halves

we seem to have a real problem playing teams at the bottom end.

i thought the subs helped us so fair play to poch. Also it’s nice to have players like nkunku , james ,gusto, sterling back gives us other options.

 

if we can get top6 this year it would be some achievement considering we were at one point 14th  

Gotta give major props to Sterling aswell, we give him a lot of shtick, but he turned up when needed today and grabbed a very important goal.

Absolutely needed these 3 points if we want a chance to get into Europe. Win our last 2 and it's very likely we can grab 6th place.

God knows how but we really are in the box seat now what with Newcastle vs Man utd in the week. Need Man Utd to lose tomorrow, then beat Newcastle and get hosed by City in the final. Both games for us still look like finals looking at today's performance. But as has already been said, as fugly as that was its results that matter right now.

Like if Lukaku wasn’t a spoiled child or Morata wasn’t a complete pussy.

Always fun having a scroll on this place after a bad performance! Wasn’t vintage was it? But I couldn’t care less!

Couldnt help but smile a bit when CHO scored, glad he’s doing well. Don’t even have to feel bad for it now we’ve won it too!

Special mention to the 3 goalscorers, each divide opinion on here and amongst fans in general! Hope it hasn’t pissed on too many cornflakes and some can still enjoy their evening! 😉😂

Agreed. Didn't play that fell but fought today. The 3 points was the most important thing. Both Newcastle and Man United will almost certainly drop points somewhere from their remaining games. 1 win for us might be enough but 2 should be for sure. Its a shame there aren't a couple more games or I might have even fancied our chances of catching Spurs.

 

Fair play lads for getting the win after that. At the start of the season we'd have just bent over and lost after it went to 2-1

I never thought in a month of Sundays we were going to get 3 points from this game having watched the first 45, and a not so good start to the 2nd.  Subs definitely changed the game and fair play to our Manager who normally would make the subs far too late.   Despite Jackson's goal his overall performance was comical at times and has learned very little over the season; we are still seeing him make bad decisions, missing good chances and he still he can't keep the ball at his feet while attempting to dribble.   Poor Badieshille, while starting off the season pretty decent he has regressed in past months and his confidence seems to be shot at times.   

Anyway...3 points with a couple of games to go.  If we do finish 6th it might be considered a decent season given all of the injuries and despite losing a cup final against an inexperienced Liverpool team.  Next season though a CL spot is the very least that will be demanded, with or without Potch.

I’ve been at a proper football match today so unless you’re on about the John Kearns OG I have no idea.

Excellent win against a side with it all to play for.

We are a keeper, centre back and a striker away from being a very good side .

Onwards and upwards.

If I had to choose only one position to strengthen it would be a keeper first and foremost
