This is RDZ ball

Constant tactical training. What you see on training ground is exactly what you see on the game. Manager ask player to repeat the same thing over and over again until it is almost 2nd nature.

It is exactly the same thing as what Conte did

"Conte, I could do it blind, but that was a lot of tactical work Monday to Friday, a lot of ten versus zero, walkthroughs – you were so well drilled, it would be ingrained in you."

Dier quote on Conte

This is a very Italian thing but not all Italian do this. Ancelotti doesn't do this

You have to make sure you learn a good thing and don’t ingrain a bad habit.

Sold on RDZ .. I like his passion.. I remember last season I hated his comments on Colwill .. that’s what I want in my manager.. opposition hating him. Just like I hate Klopp Arteta and mixture of hate and respect for Pep.. for me that’s a mentality we need .

the only reason I didn’t want him was due to his Brighton links or if we will play 3 at the back.

IMO we won't hire RDZ. He has just left Brighton for almost the same reason as Poch.

I don’t think we will either and yes there are some similarities but there are also suggestions in the article I link that he to a degree fits the job spec

No De Zerbi would be an awful appointment if we want to find a long term manager.

Depends on what you mean by long term, like more than 12 months? I don't want him because this season showed he's not that special, if it's due to injuries than Chelsea is the last place to escape from an injury spree.

The owners just want a coach who will be a trainer, and agree with them on everything else. It's difficult to have a manager willing to work long term, unless he's happen to be one of the guys for the owners, like the DOFs.

Zidane & young players 😂. If Alonso doesn’t match this season’s lofty heights next season I can see Zidane going back to replace Ancelotti.

The Madrid team with the addition of Mbappe is the ideal role for him.

Obviously it wouldn't be a perfect match for us but it would be a power move and it would give us something both short and long term, though I get it, Zidane doesn't care to come here at all.

I think that article back up my point, Brighton strategy and our strategy is quite similar. There is a reason we have been poaching so many staff from Brighton

When roma sack him they were 5 points off top 4

Now they are still 5 points off top 4 nothing change at all other than some dose of false hope

I just edit my post above to explain why mourinho isn't finished at all

Waiting in the underground carpark post-match to hurl expletive-laden abuse at a ref? You're welcome to him.

Wasn’t Sarri the same too? He would run vertical flows and if someone makes a mistake they restart all over again and do it over until they get it right every time.

Sarri, RDZ, Conte (All Italian 🤭🤭) are running similar circuit football.

If I am not mistaken poch is also doing something similar but poch allow more freedom.

Sounds like me trying to learn something on the guitar. I'm brilliant at the intro to a dozen songs but can play nothing the whole way through.

I'm eternally an optimist and will back RDZ if he joins.

But I just don't think he's an elite manager.

Brighton got 5 wins in the second half of last season. He was found out.

Yes Brighton were terrible for 2nd half of the season. Just look at their squad though - it's pretty poor after all the sales they made.

He is right , that achievement isn't happening for the next centuries

Wayne Rooney is the new manager of Plymouth . . .so we have missed out on him.

I dont suppose much is going to happen for a few days.  Ten Hag? IF United win the FA Cup will they keep him as the manager? IF United sack him - which is the most likely - will they go for Tuchel or Poch or McKenna.   McKenna prefers the United job to the Chelsea job - or so we have been told.

Are we really going to get that bloke from Brighton?  Not seeing what he could do for us.  I would prefer a complete outsider to him. At this point in time.  Add some new names to the list.

Thomas Frank - why is this chewing gum addict even on the list?

Just look how much excitement the new owners have given us  after all   they could pick anyone

Apparently according to the stats the 10 year old  who is top of the fantasy football league is now

main contender  after all he fits the bill  and he is free

I really would like us to introduce a 5-day stubble element into the mix, regretfully a 10-year old wouldn't qualify.
