Jadon Sancho

Great performance, still a long way to go. It's never been about talent for him, it has always been about converting it into consistency.

In this environment, Sancho doesn't need to be the hero (like he was expected to be at United), he gets to play with 3-4 guys who have known him off the field since childhood. and he's playing in a system that (for better or worse) suits his style of play more than others.

That really means the pressure is all on him and only him now. There's nothing in his way except himself.

Sancho at his best playing with a marauding fb who can give him supporting run, same with felix and same with Nkunku

almost as if Chilly has a role!

If we look at our squad building from purely football pov, it is mental.

Chalobah is much better than Disasi playing that rb/RCB role.

Gallagher is our best player playing dm + attacker role.

We have Felix, Nkunku, Sancho as am surely a very good runner like Chilwell fit the way we want to play.

He’s done really well so far. Not sure he starts against the top teams yet as others give more in the defensive side but I think he’s at the right club. It’s up to him to take the next step now as he has the ability.

Very pleasantly surprised by him these past few games, he's a very good option in the squad and puts in a shift defensively when called upon.

Think he'll go down as a great signing.  You can see a different level of quality when he plays - really excited to see him grow over the season.

From what I have seen he seems to be enjoying his football and feels he is part of a team that wants him again.

Brings something none of our other wingers do. Excellent close control and good decision making.

I don’t think that anyone doubted his quality, it was more his commitment. But, so far, he’s working well under Maresca and I’m glad for him. It’s probably his last chance at a big club and I hope that he takes it and proves that he’s the quality player everyone thought.

Sometimes its not about the player, its about the club. Jadon might become the player everyone thought he would become here at Chelsea because of the sh*tshow that was happening at United

If winning penalties that are scored counted as assists he would have 4. One more than in any of his seasons at United.

In particular, I think those skills can help with something we’ve struggled with in recent seasons, which is breaking down a low block.

Two things he’s shown so far in his brief start to the seasons are: (1) beating his defender not just for pace, but with technical skills in tight spaces, which is something he can do when not on a break and against a set defense, and (2) making well timed passes into the box, which has already paid off in assists this season. Those are great ways to attack a static defense and it’s been nice to see him use those skills so far.

As others have said, it’s really about consistency for Sancho, everyone knows the talent is there, but what he brings specifically seems like a profile we’ve needed for a bit, hopefully he can keep it up.

Not to take anything away from Sancho who has started quite well, but Man Utd only having scored 5 goals in 6 games probably helps.

It's a welcome relief to temporarily not be the biggest sh*tshow in the league.

Gone into my fantasy team so will probably do nothing now...

Been really impressed, think he could do a bit more defensively but really like his final ball, always looks progressive and forward-thinking.

The man united forum are all saying it will take only weeks before he gets lazy and turns rubbish again, they say they have seen it all before. Let's hope he proves them wrong.
