Jadon Sancho

I really, really don’t think there are “United ways”. Other players complained about the downright rude treatment Sancho received from ETH. He probably didn’t handle it well.

But could we be trying to save him blushes? That’s absolutely a possibility. Everyone, Chelsea, Sancho, and the press included, need to be honest about what Sancho is and what he isn’t. He’s a technically skilled and crafty player who is not a great athlete . We play a team with a low block and one player up top to counter? Sancho would be extremely useful. His interplay with overlapping players and finding ways to unlock tight defenses is great.

If you play a team with pace on the outside that attacks back with a high line and we are going to have mostly isolated wingers? Sancho probably isn’t the best choice.

It’s really not complicated, but United was seemingly confused he wasn’t Ronaldo after he showed up at their camp. Then they blamed him for it. Then they harassed him for being “lazy” … like he was choosing not to be as fast as someone like Mudryk. That’s a sign their front office was bad (and it was), not a real reflection on Sancho.

Our people have known Sancho since he was a kid. They know what he is good at and what he isn’t, and when/how to use him. As long as his cost reflects situational use and people are honest and ok with it.. no issue.

Not sure we are getting the full story. First story was that he was ill and then it became a "knock".

I haven't heard any reliable information lately and am beginning to think there maybe more to this. Hopefully I am wrong and Jadon can get back in the team.

It's Colwill from last season all over again.

Sancho, Colwill, and Palmer were all involved in training today according to the club.

Likely all 3 start on Saturday.

Well maybe not Sancho. Depends if Maresca wants to drop Noni or Neto.

OMG was he good. He kept our hopes alive!!

Needs to play like that often! Play like you remembered you lost the CL last season. Come on Sancho!!!

Like all of our wingers, I think it depends on the opposition. I remember when we were playing against Forest and thought he was the wrong choice. Forest had everybody behind the ball, and Sancho just couldn't find a way through. Mudryk came on and crosses started flying into the box which created chances. Brighton were another very open side that Sancho played very well against. Maresca just needs to keep rotating, it seems to be working well.

Definitely, I think PL is heading in that direction too. Having 4wingers each with different qualities is the way forward.

That said, it's the performance as well, today he was great

Brilliant, brilliant today. Nice to see that he can actually try and shoot. Too often has played it safe and look when he unleashed the shot outside the box. Scored. Got us back in the game, Good intelligence and excellent body balance too.

Thank you ETH and Man Utd.

Now he’s shooting more he’s showing us what a top player he is.

Fantastic today.

Must admit, he has 100-% proved me wrong. I never thought he would work out and wasn’t in favour of signing him.

Glad to be proved wrong!

What a player. His goal was so important today for the comeback and it was created all by himself. He is playing with confidence and a smile on his face.

if he can deliver similar performances consistently then we have a tremendous player in our hands.
