Liam Rosenior - Chelsea Head Coach *Now Sacked*

6 year contract. The only logic to that is he must be on stupid low wages.

Sacked by Hull City Tigers to managing the world champions in 18 months, some career path.

Massively underwhelming, confirms our demise into mediocrity and irrelevancy as a football club.

Got to look at the positives though here, unlike his predecessor he has hair.

He'll be pulling it out before long.

It is worth noting that under Sir Roman we appointed

Champions League winning manager Jose Mourinho

Champions League winning manager Carlo Ancelotti

Multiple Domestic Title winning manager Thomas Tuchel

Multiple Domestic Title winning manager Antonio Conte

So far under BlueCo we’ve appointed

Swedish Cup winning manager Graham Potter

English Championship winning manager Enzo Maresca

And now ‘Guided Strasbourg to Conference League football’ manager Liam Rosenior.

I don't think any of us liked the operation itself, but we've already talked about it extensively. Six years of contract, based on nothing, then it's absolutely crazy.

But the profile of the Rosenior is interesting, we hope that he will surprise us positively and that above all he will do the good of Chelsea and not just that of the current owners.

"While there will continue to be a focus on player development, the Club’s expectations and ambitions remain high.

backing a young, progressive coach with strong development credentials and a clear identity, rather than opting for a more established short-term name."

At least they aren't hiding it anymore, the twats. Development side FC.

I hope anyone who's ever supported these leeches hang their heads in deep shame.

This at least sounds decent :

"There is a real hunger to win, and I will give everything, every single day, to help this team compete and win at the very highest level to make everyone connected and proud to be a part of Chelsea Football Club.

I want our fans to be proud of who we are and what we represent in every single game that we play. They are the soul of this enormous, historic and huge football club."

Mind you, I thought Starmer's first speech as our PM was decent too LOL (no I didn't vote for him 😎 )

He’s actually a decent communicator and speaker.

I remember him being a pundit on Sky Sports.

Of course he’s inexperienced at this level and he’s gonna be hampered by the board so that makes being a success here even more difficult, but it’s done now so hopefully we can get behind him now and see what happens.

Good luck Liam, you’re gonna need it.

Do you ever watch the Apprentice (I've seen clips) and think how do these complete f**kwits get such high paying jobs? Well I'm starting to think there's a secret club and I'm not in it, but Winstanley, Stewart, and that lot all are. In fact we have idiots running everything nowadays. Theres just no explanation as to why they've given this job to Rosenior and a 6 year contract to boot. It's baffling, like appointing me CEO of Apple.

If this does turn out to be a masterstroke (which I really hope it does) it wouldn't be down to great decision making or scouting, it would be down to sheer luck nothing else. Don't think I've ever been this disappointed by a managerial appointment. Really need Man Utd to appoint someone like Fletcher now. It will at least give me some joy, that and Arsenal bottling the league.

Anyway welcome Liam hope you make a success out of this opportunity.

I think that makes it official we aren't interested in competing anymore. What a f**king shame.

I'll be canceling my football package. I can't support this anymore.

See, I think we have all felt like that since this new regime took over. Many of us have commented about never feeling so detached from the club (a club I've supported 50 + years @loz in case you weren't aware of that!)

But then like the other night v City, you put the game on, and as much as you don't want to care, you just can't help it - it's in our blood FFS!

As I said earlier, will go into this with an open mind. IF Rosenoir gets us playing better football and the likes of Palmer & Estevao etc excel, then fine, but no doubt that will be countered by our wonderful SD's forcing more sh*t (over-priced) signings on the poor bloke and I expect we will be back to square one before we know it.

Yeah exactly the same thing our owners said when they bought us.

You’ll feel the same as with Starmer after you watch Sanchez invert into the CB position…

More of the PR bullsh*te we’ve got used to hear from the board.
