January 6Jan 6 What an uninspiring appointment, a shame. I hope that he is the guy to take us back to title winning, though given the owners track record, I doubt it.

The only logic to that is he must be on stupid low wages.Sacked by Hull City Tigers to managing the world champions in 18 months, some career path.Massively underwhelming, confirms our demise into mediocrity and irrelevancy as a football club.Got to look at the positives though here, unlike his predecessor he has hair. He'll be pulling it out before long. January 6Jan 6 It is worth noting that under Sir Roman we appointedChampions League winning manager Jose MourinhoChampions League winning manager Carlo AncelottiMultiple Domestic Title winning manager Thomas TuchelMultiple Domestic Title winning manager Antonio ConteSo far under BlueCo we’ve appointedSwedish Cup winning manager Graham PotterEnglish Championship winning manager Enzo MarescaAnd now ‘Guided Strasbourg to Conference League football’ manager Liam Rosenior. January 6Jan 6 I’m convinced these owners are actual thickwits. No one with a semblance of intelligence would make decisions this bad.One thing to appoint Rosenior, but for 6 years???
January 6Jan 6 I don't think any of us liked the operation itself, but we've already talked about it extensively. Six years of contract, based on nothing, then it's absolutely crazy. But the profile of the Rosenior is interesting, we hope that he will surprise us positively and that above all he will do the good of Chelsea and not just that of the current owners. Development side FC.I hope anyone who's ever supported these leeches hang their heads in deep shame.
January 6Jan 6 I have absolutely no idea why but I have a sneaky good feeling about this one.Let’s see how he does.
January 6Jan 6 There’ll surely be something in the contract about a review date, similar to what Poch and Maresca had that will allow for a cheaper parting. Unless it’s mid season next year 😅Time to back him for now.

January 6Jan 6 This at least sounds decent :"There is a real hunger to win, and I will give everything, every single day, to help this team compete and win at the very highest level to make everyone connected and proud to be a part of Chelsea Football Club.I want our fans to be proud of who we are and what we represent in every single game that we play. They are the soul of this enormous, historic and huge football club."Mind you, I thought Starmer's first speech as our PM was decent too LOL (no I didn't vote for him 😎 )

January 6Jan 6 Do you ever watch the Apprentice (I've seen clips) and think how do these complete f**kwits get such high paying jobs? Well I'm starting to think there's a secret club and I'm not in it, but Winstanley, Stewart, and that lot all are. In fact we have idiots running everything nowadays. Theres just no explanation as to why they've given this job to Rosenior and a 6 year contract to boot. It's baffling, like appointing me CEO of Apple. If this does turn out to be a masterstroke (which I really hope it does) it wouldn't be down to great decision making or scouting, it would be down to sheer luck nothing else. Don't think I've ever been this disappointed by a managerial appointment. Really need Man Utd to appoint someone like Fletcher now. It will at least give me some joy, that and Arsenal bottling the league. Anyway welcome Liam hope you make a success out of this opportunity.
January 6Jan 6 I'm very interested to see which players are the winners and which are the losers under Rosenior. It clearly hasn't been a meritocracy up to now. If that continues then we will know definitively who is calling the shots on team selection.

I can't support this anymore.See, I think we have all felt like that since this new regime took over. Many of us have commented about never feeling so detached from the club (a club I've supported 50 + years @loz in case you weren't aware of that!)But then like the other night v City, you put the game on, and as much as you don't want to care, you just can't help it - it's in our blood FFS!As I said earlier, will go into this with an open mind. IF Rosenoir gets us playing better football and the likes of Palmer & Estevao etc excel, then fine, but no doubt that will be countered by our wonderful SD's forcing more sh*t (over-priced) signings on the poor bloke and I expect we will be back to square one before we know it.
