Yep the bonus is a lot of clubs will be desperate to sign players on loans so it's just getting their massive wages down that's the issue.
September 13, 20205 yr Let's stop signing players now and start selling to build for next year's window. Heard Mbappe wants out of PSG by the end of the season. He'd be massive for us

Martinez was decent cover for Leno but he was never going to be a no 1 for a club like us, no disrespect. The difference is only 4 mil, and 20 mil overall isn't really a gamble for Mendy. He has horrible finishing skills. Another example yesterday where he bottled two prime scoring chances missing the net entirely on both of them.
September 24, 20205 yr I wouldn't say he has horrible finishing skills, he scored 8 for us last season. He is not a natural finisher yet think he can play in 3 behind a front man for us when needed.

Not enough time to seriously judge but an amazing goal on the link in the Guardian article. He looks more like an attacking midfielder than a box to box. Maybe he has it all. At 17 he looks big and strong. I don't get the Rice rumours completely. If Ampadu has a good season at Sheffield he can easily play the defensive midfield role. Maybe Lamps needs to take a closer look at Amps.

Apparently he's played as a 6 all season for rennes but he prefers to play as an 8. That sounds like the right type of profile for us.
October 21, 20205 yr Allegri rumoured to come in if we don't get results this season. Personally it is way too early to even think about changing anything, we just need more time to gel. In January we definitely need to add more steel in our midfield though, far too lightweight at times.

Alonso maybe poor in defense but he makes up for with his important goals. Chilwell is just average at everything. This is up there with one of the most clueless posts I've ever read.

Yeah I get that but who would have ever rated Alonso highly. Tbf I didn't think Costa would be any good for us. We all make mistakes haha.

I got it wrong, Chilwell didn't impress me at Leicester but he's done well for us so far. Never a huge fan of Alonso but he was good going forward. Stats wise Alonso had a better season last season than Chilwell, i wasn't the only one who wasn't sure about Chilwell.

Haha nah I understand mate. It's funny looking back when you see how someone has performed after joining the club. I expect some people were sceptical about Hazard!

Yep, I'm in the same position. I never really rated him at all, but so far, he is proving me wrong. I just hope he keeps it up this season, which is something he didn't do at Leicester last season. He faded after the midway point and then never really recovered, which is the reason why I never wanted us to sign him. I hope it doesn't happen again.

Maybe even Poch

Me too, I was a massive doubter of Chilwell but he has proven me wrong for sure, been a great signing. And for 45m? thats doubly good! If we did sign him for 80m like it was initially reported, i'd still be a bit doubtful, but for 45m he's really proved hes worth it so far. Though in my defence, I did say we should go for Reguilon as our main choice, and he's been just as good for Tottenham. Even Telles was an option and hes been good for Utd as well.
