Maybe we're using Jose's old "£14mil for the left leg, £14mil for the right leg" like he did with Hazard.

If he is leaving, It wont be for 14 million !!! In an era where average players are sold for extra-ordinary prices, Do they really expect Chelsea to sell a really good player for below average price ? Media bull as usual.

14 mil would be criminal. He is the best full back in the prem in my opinion, and has got to be top 3/5 in the world. Plus he's still quite young. There is literally no upside to selling him for 14 mil. We couldnt even attract a decent replacement with no european football unless we paid huge wages, and id be surprised if Dave's wages were high so we'd lose out there as well.

What he said was that Barca are interested but ARENT WILLING to pay 14mil. the 14mil is our valuation, not barca's. they think he is worth less

If he leaves for £14m then the club need to have a serious look at themselves.

Normally, when it comes to selling players, we do quite well and have managed to make a profit on them. Think Ramires, Mata, Cech, Schurrle, De Byrune.

It would be illogical to sell a player that is realiable, high performer, consistent and regarded as one of the best defenders in the prem.

If Barcelona wanted a player that can play anywhere along the back four, but don't think they're worth 14 million, they wouldn't buy them as they only want top players. So amount must be wrong as he IS a top player.

This is really the silly season, selling Dave cheap then get that United fullback, what the f* people been smoking?

 

I agree he didn't have the best seasons, especially towards the end. However, he's still the most reliable fullback we got, on both sides of the field.

I do worry about his future though if we play 352. I get the feeling Conte would play Cuadrado on the right and Baba on the left.

I think with him able to play left and right and centre back it would be silly for Conte to let him go
