October 30, 201510 yr I seriously doubt you are from this earth, you must be an alien for you to compare Moses with Kennedy and Traore. In his first season, he wasn't a first teamer but still manage 10 goals, and yet you think he is a sh*t player. For you to even think Moses haven't improved his game since he last played for us shows you probably don't even know the Moses we are talking about or you haven't watched him play since 3 years ago! Jose don't want to give him the chance to prove himself just like the case with KDB, Mata etc. But there is only one way for us to know he could have been a success here. When he eventually leaves and proved himself in a top team just like Pogba and KDB has done. Did you even read the comment you are replying to? You ask "In his first season, he wasn't a first teamer but still manage 10 goals, and yet you think he is a sh*t player" Remodez already said "Do people actually remember his performances in the season he was with us or are they just looking at his goals?" You continue "For you to even think Moses haven't improved his game since he last played for us shows you probably don't even know the Moses we are talking about" Again from Remodez post "Now yes, he has improved. He looked good at Stoke although faded towards the end" Perhaps take a moment to ingest what you've just read rather than just throwing our a nonsense rant at someone who has already addressed the points your getting so wound up about.
October 30, 201510 yr Why did you ignore the part where he claimed Kennedy and Traore are a better player than Moses? Seems you are as confused as Remodez!
October 30, 201510 yr Why did you ignore the part where he claimed Kennedy and Traore are a better player than Moses? Seems you are as confused as Remodez! Because, as already highlighted, your counter arguments are raising points that Remodez has already addressed. I didn't address where Remodez expressed an opinion that Kenedy and Traore are as good as/better options than Moses because it wasn't relevant to the point I was making. Namely that your reply ignored points already raised in Remodez argument. My own opinion is that Moses should have stayed in the squad this season on the merit of his pre-season performances but he isn't a better player than Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Pedro and was always unlikely to get any significant game time ahead of those four so it made more sense to have youth in the squad as cover.

Remodez is simply trying to prove that Kennedy and Traore are better players than Moses, can't you see it in his comments? Now can you give a direct answer to this question: Is Kennedy and Traore better than Moses?

Now can you give a direct answer to this question: Is Kennedy and Traore better than Moses? I don't think there's a huge amount in it, the little I have seen of Kenedy and Traore they're both very fast and direct wingers much like Moses. Moses obviously is more experienced than those two but I don't think he's ever had a truly impressive season from start to finish and hasn't really kicked on since his days at Wigan. Start of the season I would have said yes he should be in the squad but I'm a big fan of Kenedy from what I have seen of him so far and at only 19 I think he has a much higher ceiling of potential than Moses who I don't think is going to improve on the player he is now.

Now can you give a direct answer to this question: Is Kennedy and Traore better than Moses? That's not what I was simply trying to prove at all. The point I was making was that Moses, as an individual, simply isn't good enough to play for us. The comparison was used to back up that claim, it wasn't my sole point.
August 20, 20169 yr Forgotten man. Showed strength and desire to make things happen. Liked what I saw. Hopefully he gets a start.

August 21, 20169 yr He has came on as a sub for 2 games now - I think we can expect to see more sub roles from him. Should be way ahead of Pedro in the pecking order.
August 21, 20169 yr He has came on as a sub for 2 games now - I think we can expect to see more sub roles from him. I think he's ideal for that. Comes in as a sub and adds something different plus dynamizes attack, can start in less important game and won't be too fickle about being a substitute player. Pedro simply is not good enough. Overrated due to being surrounded by legends of the game for club and country.
August 21, 20169 yr Probably our most direct and effective winger ... very glad he is being given a chance.
August 21, 20169 yr I'd still give that title to Haz. Fine, if you consider Hazard an outright winger, which I don't really :)
August 21, 20169 yr Conte likes him, I think he will have a decent season with us, definitely more effective than Pedro and Currado at moment.

August 21, 20169 yr Not a fan atall, he may have done ok off the bench last two games but theirs a reason three clubs decided not to keep him or extend his loan. I guess for this season we could use him as an option to run the clock down or add a bit of pace to tired defendes but I really hope he doesn't start a league game this season.
August 21, 20169 yr He has pace, strength, aggression, as well as a knack for scoring and getting into good positions. He looks quite determined to prove himself, too. I'm one of those who liked what he did in the Di matteo team, so it's good to see him getting his chance. (I think he heels himself that he can be at a top side, and maybe his game suffered from being discarded and shipped from loam to loan, not to mention his injury record isn't great.)
August 22, 20169 yr I think he's technically nowhere near the type of player that suits Chelsea, but simulatneously he is perfect for us. Sometimes the technical wizardry, footwork, cut backs and neat one-twos just dont unlock the defence in front of us. Sometimes you need a guy who says "give me the ball and ill run at my full-back". A guy who does the old fashioned thing of getting to the by-line and whipping the ball across. A guy who gives costa and batshuayi something to get on the end of. It might not be pretty, but boy it can be effective. a great bench option

August 22, 20169 yr Would have preferred if Musonda stayed with us instead but can see the benefit of loaning him back to Betis, Musonda needs to play week in week out and Moses will hopefully be happy on the bench. Edited August 22, 20169 yr by the special one
August 25, 20169 yr good words from moses, sounds like he is motivated for the season. Victor Moses believes he is paying back the confidence shown in him by Antonio Conte, having netted in Tuesday night’s win over Bristol Rovers. Moses was on the Chelsea scoresheet for the first time in over three years as we progressed into the third round of the League Cup thanks to a 3-2 win, with Michy Batshuayi converting twice, and the Nigeria international explained afterwards how he is enjoying being back in the fold following three season-long loan spells away from Stamford Bridge. ‘It was a great game from the lads, I thought we all worked hard. We knew it wasn’t going to be an easy game, we had to show a good attitude to go into the next round and we’re pleased with it,’ Moses said afterwards. ‘I’m excited to get on the scoresheet, it’s important for me, and for the team as well but the most important thing is going through.’ Moses took up a right-wing position against Rovers, the position he played most of his football for the Blues during the 2012/13 campaign, until now the only full season he spent with Chelsea before loans with Liverpool, Stoke and West Ham. The 25-year-old, who has now featured in each of our three games this season, hopes it is a springboard to greater things in 2016/17. ‘In pre-season I’ve always done well, it’s just about getting the chance,’ he said. ‘The manager knows the ability I’ve got and I want to pay him back by working hard for the team and making sure I do the right things on the pitch. I’m here and I’m happy and I want to keep on enjoying my football. ‘I’ve always believed in the ability and talent I’ve got. There’s still a lot to come from me for the club. I’m pleased to be playing this season. I just want to keep working hard for the team and hope we can win as many games as we can.’ We now look ahead to Saturday’s game against Burnley as we seek to continue our 100 per cent start to the Premier League campaign. ‘There are no easy games in the league. It’s 11 v 11 so it will be a hard game for us but the most important thing is to work hard together as a team,’ Moses said. ‘We’ve won three in a row, we’ve got quality players who can win us games, collectively and individually, and we’ll keep growing together.’ Edited August 25, 20169 yr by enigma
