October 24, 20169 yr I hope Vic went to Jose and said "so hows salah and cuadrado"? He should have been a part of our squad. So glad he is now and loving his performances. Get in BIG VIC.
October 24, 20169 yr Salah is doing very well at Roma and has pretty much been excellent on his loans. I wouldn't be surprised if someone buys him for 45-50million soon. We might even see him return to the prem again in not too long. Edited October 24, 20169 yr by Kante Conte
October 24, 20169 yr Love what he's been doing since moving to wing back, seems to have the perfect combination of speed, strength and discipline to provide cover to the back 3 while still offering something going forward. Doesn't have the craft or guile in tight spots as the rest of our attacking players but wing back looks like the position he was born to play.
October 24, 20169 yr In the battle of the former Wigan stars at right-back, I think Moses comfortably came out on top.

Get in BIG VIC.You just reminded of how bad I felt that season José loaned out Moses who gave 150% in preseason and then wasted our money to sign an inferior player in Salah who isn't proven in England but was brought in probably because he usually score against us!

Was still very young when here, and inexperienced, compared to Moses who's been playing from the youth setup here in this country. I wouldn't say Salah is the inferior player at this moment, at all. Another player who wasn't really given a proper shot to prove himself. Edited October 24, 20169 yr by Kante Conte

The likes of West Brom, West Ham, Watford might risk it though.
October 24, 20169 yr Now under unfortunate circumstances which i shouldn't have rose to my view on Moses as a winger is well documented (apologies to anyone who witnessed that), i don't think he is a great decision maker to play in that position and often get's outsmarted with the full back close to him. As wing back however, the position seems almost made for him (even more so in a 3-4-3 with a winger in front to totally occupy the fullback), pace and athleticism are his two major attributes and you need them in abundance at RWB, so he get's up and down, and with the fullback more focused on Pedro/Willian in front of him he has all the space in the world to cause havoc. The Leicester goal is the case in point, he get's the cross field pass from Kante and no one is near him, he runs into the gaping area of the pitch has that 1/2 with Chalobah, goal. Where was Fuchs? Marking i think was Hazard who drifted to the right. What i also liked yesterday is he was actually very good at defending, twice i think he made interceptions that otherwise would have had us in a bit of trouble. A lot of not so great winger's find their feet when they are moved to wingback/fullback, Danny Rose is another prime example average winger now arguably the best LB in the league (at least going forward) and if Moses carries on like this, RWB maybe his for keeps.

That's actually quite funny (pardon my rudeness). Tottenham, Liverpool, Everton, Maybe even City or Arsenal if he keeps the level of consistency up and matures further. It's laughable how some make their judgements. In any case, opinions, opinions.

October 24, 20169 yr Maybe a bit like what Conte did with Giaccherini for Italy. I've liked Moses in the past but maybe not an 'as is' brilliant player in every team. In the right system with the right coach, he can play a key role as he is now. In part due to good coaching improving him and his own effort, but in part due to being suited to the team. Happy for him, and pleased we have an actual winger.
October 24, 20169 yr Moses has been key to our success in the last couple of games. He's an honest player, works hard, no histrionics - I like him. Good to see him having a decent run in the side.
October 25, 20169 yr On 10/24/2016 at 17:41, wallosh said: He will still flop in the EPL. Depends on how the side he plays for is set up. From what I've seen, Salah's overall style has not changed greatly since his Chelsea days. He's always been lethal on the counterattack because of his pace and he's a quality dribbler, but his finishing remains inconsistent and his ball control is just OK so he struggles somewhat against packed defences that give him little space. He'd probably do quite well as one of the three forwards in this current Chelsea side because the 3-4-3 is inherently counterattacking and not possession oriented but I don't think he would be a constant starter because many sides would be quite content to park the bus against us, especially at Stamford Bridge. I would perhaps consider starting him against the bigger sides because they are more likely to look to attack, but start Pedro against the sides that do not because Pedro's ball control is certainly better than Salah's IMO. Salah would also exploit a tired defence very well because of his pace and so he'd be quite a good sub. But at any rate, I don't think Salah and Moses are quite comparable. Salah is much more of an inside forward whereas Moses is more of a versatile traditional winger. I couldn't see Salah filling in at wing back like Moses has because he's never been much of a defender and he would be playing on his wrong foot anyway. Edited October 25, 20169 yr by DaRick

October 31, 20169 yr I never doubted him he's now nailed on first team player he's probably first name on the sheet with hazard and Costa
October 31, 20169 yr Another dynamic, urgent performance from the man. Even grabbed an assist. IMO the biggest revelation of this season for Chelsea. Hazard and Costa have been brilliant, but we always knew they had it in them, whereas no-one expected this level of performance from Moses.
October 31, 20169 yr Moses just never stops running. His name was sung on par with Hazards and Costa at St Mary's and rightly so. Put in a good shift yet again.
October 31, 20169 yr Wouldn't have got a look in if Cuadrado had stuck around like Conte wanted...thank goodness that bottler fcuked off back to Italy
October 31, 20169 yr Moses' been excellent. What a way to show us his true level. He fits out system perfectly and it sort of gives him the freedom he urges and responsibility he has really taken into his own. He loves to run that flank.
October 31, 20169 yr Key component in the system, he has made the position his own. Never really understood why he was continually overlooked by José. Good to see him get his chance at last with a manager who trusts him. Pity its an ACON year, we will need an adequate reserve whilst he is away.
