He played very well last night and backed up his good performance from the weekend. I notice he has a lighter frame about him this season which might attribute to a more fitter and confident Mikel.

 

As a back-up to Matic, he's sufficient in my opinion if he maintains his current form!

Why as backup?

Complementing Matic seemed to work very well, wouldn't mind seeing them play together in the league a couple times to see how it works against better oppo.
