A shame as I really like Zouma and think he is of Chelsea quality but probably just not good enough on the ball for Tuchel's liking.

It is going to be weird to see Zouma playing for another team and… not being Chelsea.  Feels like he’s been here for a long time.

Sad to see him go. Not counting the youngsters, Zouma must be our longest-serving first-team player after Azpilicueta?

He was a really good player for us when he started, and a very dependable squad option when he didn't. He was also there during some tough times for us - remember when he scored during the double we sh*thoused against Arsenal during Mourinho's implosion season?

He will surely be a spectacular signing for David Moyes' West Ham. Plus we'll always wonder what could have happened had he not taken one stepover too many (or too few) against Ajax...

Terrible shame to see him leave and even more of a shame to see him move to the Spammers. They are building a very good squad over there.

Incredible to see him come back from his knee injury and play a role in trophies, I think he's still a better out and out defender than some of our remaining CBs but passing takes priority these days and that was never his strongest suit. 

Just not the type of defender TT wants. 

Thank you Kurt, loved the way he played with such personality.

He made some great last ditch challenges in his time. Palace away, United at home are couple that come to mind.

Indeed, that's great. Helped by the magnificent audiovisual department of course, but still left a lump in my throat. He really matured in the years with us, didn't he. Good luck, Kurt, be happy but not too successful.

Not just Tuchel. Conte and Sarri both came to the same conclusion with him aswell, Lamps is the only reason this day hasn't come a lot sooner.

I like him as a character and what he's strong at he's really strong at but I feel he is overrated as a overall package. That said his strengths make him perfect for what Moyes wants out of a CB so this is one of those rare deals where every party leaves the table very happy.

When players like Ben White are going for £50M, £30M for Zouma is a great deal for West Ham, only 26 too.

We rarely get good prices for our players, unless we sell the m to China. Teams fleece us for as much as they can get, and we sell for peanuts.

If we really do mis out on Koundré this season because the Zouma deal took so long it makes that deal even less attractive.

The last bit just isn't true at all. We've sold really well during the last years.
