The funny thing is about these yellows just shows how sh*t the referees are, most of them if not all of them have been absolutely bull sh*t and there has been plenty of times when he has deserves yellow cards even a sending off but hasn't got it.

 

His first 3 yellows alone were absolutely pathetic, like if a player starts an argument with him he gets yellow carded at that players expense like he got with Coleman who was pushing him around.

If he does, people will say he picked a booking up deliberately.

 

They'd be right. Hard to prove though so all good.

The thing that has impressed me most is how many of costa' goals have been game changers ie. Equaliser, or put us 1 or 2 ahead.

I think the only goals that haven't been game changers were the villa goal, and the last 2 in his hat trick.

This guy doesn't score consolation goals.

He doesn't really score boring goals either. If he carries on like this he'll have 30 goals at the end of the season.

Biggest difference being that now we have someone on the end of the chances, that's the biggest improvement this season.

11 goals in 10 EPL games! Very impressive and refreshing to watch!

Getting a World Class striker really put us in the driver seat, long may it continue.

I won't lie, I had my doubts when it was announced we were signing him but he's since proved me wrong in spectacular fashion.

He's exactly the kind of striker we have been missing for the last 2 or 3 years. The guy is a battering ram and long may it continue.

He is fast becoming one of my favourites in the team. Not just for the goals but for the way he fights for the team.

Its not likely he loves Chelsea yet as he hasnt been here too long but he fights for the team like he loves Chelsea.

He may be a brute, but the skill he's shown in some of the 'touches' to score have been sublime, and because of he's character it's overlooked slightly.

Costa isn't only a goal scorer, but look at his positions, the way he lures players from the opposition onto himself and creates opening for his teammates. This guy's been the best signing of the summer.

His technical ability has been underrated since he was at Atletico. I hear the pundits comparing him to Suarez, and i think he's up there for sure. He can sometimes look clumsy, but he fights for the ball at every opportunity and makes chances for himself, which is the difference between him and other strikers.

I had my doubts as well tbh but he really is outstanding, I love the guy. It's ironic when you look back to the Atletico game and hear all of us chanting "wan*ker" at him when he's taking the penalty.
