Mikel, everywhere in the kind of game that suits him perfectly. Closely followed by Cahill.

Great performance by all the back four. Doff my cap to Schwarzer for coming on in a crazy atmosphere. But my MOTM tonight Matthew is...........Mikel. Outstanding tonight.

Rough order: Terry, Cole, Mikel, Cahill

Three contenders for me.  JT, Cahill and Mikel.  My vote goes to Mikel who was exceptional in front of the back two.  Even more impressive given how little game time he has been getting lately. Once again those who groaned at seeing his name on the team sheet have been proved wrong.

 

However worth saying that not a single player was poor tonight and it isn't often we can say that.  First class effort both in terms of work ethic but also discipline. A well earned draw.

MIkel, Cahill, JT, Ashley Cole and Dave all deserve special mention

Mikel, always shines in these type of performances and today was no exception.

agree with dkw, this is yhe sort game mikel excels in and he was my motm.

cahill and terry were quality aswell.

cole was brilliant considering how much football he's played.

luiz was more controlled, no silly free kicks given away,although he needs to let someone else have a go from our free kicks, it's over a year since he last scored!

also a mention for schwarzer who commanded his area as well as cech, im amazed how much stick he was getting, a year ago we would've had to rely on turnbull!

I voted for Cahill cause I have a Man Crush on him, but truth be told JT, Mikel, Azpi, Cole, Side Show Bob (if you don't look at his FKs), Willian, hell even Torres deserves a shout out for their effort today. If you are an English fan, you should be writing letters to JT & the FA. This JT Cahill partnership is solid & it will be tough for any country to break that down this summer.

No sure i could pick one really great team performance, Wilian was probably the only one that was a bit poor.

Backs to the wall stuff mikels game and he was outstanding but i'd give it to cahill tho kept them organized when jt went off.

JT, Cole, Cahill, Mikel, Dave and Schwarzer I can't decide.

Mikel was just decent for me, dont know wha teveryones raving about. Had a simple job and he did it well but offered nothing more than that.

Oh come on, give credit where it's due. Mikel was outstanding defensively.

Mikel for me not only for coming in and carrying out his instructions to the letter but because he, like Ash haven't had much game time and are unsure about there futures at the Club but put in top quality performances on a big big night.

 

Cahill and Terry every bit as impressive but that's par for the course.

Cahill, if not for his outstanding performance throughout the game, for blocking Costa's header around the 85th minute that almost definitely was going to clip inside the back post.

I thought Willian was probably one of the worst to be honest.

Cahill for me, although I wouldn't begrudge Mikel if the majority vote goes to him.

Terry for me, won everything from what i could see. Cahill and Mikel were a close joint second for me.

Cahill again for me, our most improved player this season. Honourable mentions for JT,Mikel and Luiz. Good all round performance given the difficulties we faced during the match.

Cahill is my pick. Mikel a very close second.

Voted Cahill, thought he was brilliant today and looked to save a sure goal from Cost with his head. Top notch performance.
