January 17, 20179 yr Suarez is a f$cking elite player. We have had Ivanovic kneading someone in the kidneys, Hazard kicking a ball boy and our very own beast in Diego etc. Let's not act all superior.

Hazard tried to kick the ball from under a little gobsh*te Diego is a loose cannon but he's no vile biting prick like Suarez. Suarez is a unreal footballer but hes a scumbag
January 17, 20179 yr Regardless of Suarez been a scumbag I'd still have him. There's only Ronaldo and Messi ahead of him in the world right now and that's not by much.

Would love the likes of Aubameyang and Kane here but just can't see it happening. Of all the names mentioned I think Belotti, Icardi, Dzeko, Mandzukic are the most realistic.
January 17, 20179 yr Belotti, Auba, Icardi or Lukaku are somewhat attainable targets. Sanchez, Suarez, Kane's of this world we have no chance with. Not because of the fact we aren't a 'big club' but there's situations why all three of those just can't join us so really there's not much point speculating.

How is it that Ashley Cole can leave Arsenal for Chelsea, RVP Arsenal for Man U, Torres Liverpool for Chelsea, Jack Colback Sunderland for Newcastle... I honestly think Sanchez is attainable, he's not British and therefor doesn't have the legacy commitment a player like Kane would have.
January 17, 20179 yr Kane wouldn't happen because Levy hates us and it was proved with Modric who was refused a move and sold later for a reduced fee. Pure hatred Arsenal and Sanchez I'm not so sure, I don't think they would sell to us unless we gave them something. Last time it was Gallas plus a fee for Cole. Could you imagine the abuse Wenger and co would get if they sold their best player to us? I don't see why Suarez would leave Barca to come here, he's at one of the biggest clubs in the world playing with guys like Messi. It's unrealistic IMO.

Stalling on contracts, and Arsenal are a selling club, so I take that back. However Kane and Suarez both have long term deals and as far as we're aware are happy where they're at, so I think we can rule those two out.

Long term deals literally mean nothing if we offer them a longer one with more money.

Can't see Suarez leaving Barca for us, we aren't quite on that level and he's been there and done it in the Prem. Kane is loyal to Spurs, they have a project there with a good manager and even Daniel Levy isn't stupid enough to sell their top striker to a massive rival. Even if we had an astronomical bid accepted, Kane wouldn't take it I'm very sure of that.

Thing is Sanchez doesn't have a long term deal, he's talking a good game about signing a new contract (and most likely will) but the fact remains his current deal expires next year. He has a boot deal with Nike and if he's happy in London and Conte's 3-4-3 appeals to him who knows. Edited January 17, 20179 yr by the special one

As we've seen with Payet, they won't buy them regardless of how good they are. Payet is available for £35m and none of the big clubs are touching him - for a good reason TBF to Payet, none of the big clubs are touching him because his agent clearly stated that right now the only option for him is Marseille. He will not consider any other club due to personal reasons. And to the other point, it is good to speculate and have wishful thinking but some of the striker some people have been suggesting have to make me laugh. People think it is bread and butter that we get these strikers. Kane will not happen, I don't think ever. Suarez will never happen. Why the hell is he going to leave Barca to come to us? He is at, let's face it best team in world and that just will not happen. Sanchez is not as unrealistic but one I don't think will happen. Neymar as well I saw people mentioning it. That is really unrealistic at this stage and I don't see Aubameyang happening as well.
January 17, 20179 yr If Diego were to leave my shortlist would be something along these lines (these are players i think are attainable) Aubameyang #1; I reckon he'd tear up this league like Thierry Henry or Aguero, he has everything. Paolo Dybala #2; Juventus sell players for the right price, he's an incredible player who's only going to get better. Mauro Icardi #3; A lot of people might question this one, and i know he comes with baggage, but he's been a scoring machine for Inter, and he's only 23. He's also strong as a bull and great in the air Belotti #4; Young, italian, great finisher, I think he'd be perfect for us, given our track record with italians at chelsea Belotti for me guy is phenomenal
