Man, a striker like him is often the difference between 1 point and 3 points. Could be absolutely crucial as time goes on. As at Middlesbrough, now versus West Brom.

And City and Tottenham. No way we would have won any of those games without Costa for me.
And thats just recently, saved us against West Ham and Watford to get us three points and probably more games then that too thats slipped my mind.

'tis, his movement and vision also caused City and Tottenham no end of problems.

Bizarre reports now from a few journo's saying Inter will bid for Costa, not sure they can even afford him anymore. You can't blame Diego if his head is turned though, who wouldn't want to play for a club flying high in 11th place, obviously they got Inter confused with Juventus.

Back on planet earth, I'm so glad Diego did not return to Atletico, brilliant player.

With that goal against WBA today, Diego Costa has now scored more goals for Chelsea in the domestic league than he did for Atletico Madrid

 

does that mean that the Prem is an easier league to score in than in La Liga? Not so sure about that one, but DC's scoring tally in the EPL is a pretty crazy fact.

Its even more impressive when you take last season into account. This season and 14/15 combined his record must be bordering on a goal a game.

Unbelievable form! 

Best on form striker in the world at the moment and surely there can be no debate there.

Of course there are players who are 'better' than Costa overall, but the man is unbelievable and is singlehandedly winning games for us at the moment.

If he continues this form for another 2-3 years, and we win titles/cups, could he do the unthinkable and eclipse Drogba as our best striker of the modern era? Who knows...

Is it just me or has he added a bit of muscle? I seem to remember he was quite skinny in his first season here, second season he was mostly overweight but this season he seems to have musceled up to me. And he looks faster aswell.
He's been an absolute beast this season, if his form continues he is going to lead us to the trophy.

Nope, it doesn't. It's just because he's spent most of his prime years in the PL. Diego wasn't really a prolific goalscorer before his last season at Atletico.

Personally I would like him to become our designated penalty taker (not that we're ever awarded any). 

Kane and Aguero pad out their numbers from the spot, so imagine if Diego did the same? 

THE FORM HE is in, is absolutely unbelievable. 

Also, agree that he should be our penalty taker, even though, I doubt that would help since we barely get penalties.

The club need to have a watcher over Him 24/7 i mean warp him in bubble wrap and only let him out on match days he does nothing without us approving it lol lol the guy is lethal

He's been phenomenal this season, where was this costa who had clumsy touch, making silly dribbling, love getting tangled in non football related brawl, running like headless chicken off the ball? 

 

The change is way too steep to suggest anything out of ordinary but I don't really blame him for what he did last season, something needed to be done but of course he needs to make it up for the club and fans this season and so on.. I think he's doing just that.. 1st time we have a striker since drogba who can be the difference in winning the match..

 

The last time Costa was booked was the 83rd minute in the 3-0 defeat to the Arseholes.

9 games without a booking, 9 wins.
