February 13, 20188 yr Having a bad season. He didn't do anything wrong as such last night but never really looked like contributing anything of note in attack. And that's been the story of his season really.
February 13, 20188 yr Well, he didn’t set the world on fire but imo helped opening up WBA defenders with his mobility. A good performance overall, but not world class (which he is not).
February 13, 20188 yr I feel a bit sorry for him last night, he made loads of runs in behind and the ball never came. You could see the frustration on his face every time. He went deep to get the ball and got swamped by opposition players. He’s working hard it’s just not coming off for him at the moment.
February 13, 20188 yr Had a good game but its pretty clear Chelsea need an upgrade on him and Willian, badly need to freshen it up.

Bailey was at £40m now rumoured to be going for more and linked with Bayern, Mahrez opened at £55m & Leicester now want £90m.
February 13, 20188 yr I didn't see the full game unfortunately but from what I saw I thought he played quite well, great defensive workrate and also made some good movement in attack. Saw a stat which said he made the most tackles, which sounds about right to me.

Unfortunately, too many games just pass him by. I like him, but just don't feel he is good enough for what we are trying to aspire to.

I glanced past it this morning but didn't think to save it or anything, now I can't find it. He's a solid squad player, nothing more nothing less. I do like the balance of work rate and attacking threat he has but I agree he does need to do more at times.
February 13, 20188 yr pedro has been poor this year, but his work rate was fantastic last night, and he rarely lost the ball.
February 13, 20188 yr I have you ever had to catch a bus to get somewhere important. And you think you have enough time. And you look at your watch and think "yeah, no worries it's good". But then you look down the road and you see the bus is at the bus stop. And people are getting on it. So you start running like a nutter. Faster and faster. And you wave like mad hoping the driver will see you and wait. But you don't quite make it. And the bus drives off. And your stuck there bent double, puffing and panting, sweating like a c**t. I get that feeling again every time I watch Pedro.

February 14, 20188 yr Kind of the opposite for Bakayako. He sees the bus at the bus stop, sees people getting on the bus, slowly jogs there, ..., slower and slower ... Doesn't make it by several minutes ...Looks perplexed ....

February 14, 20188 yr One thing I've noticed about Pedro, and it was even the same last season, his final ball. His final ball is bad, he always gets himself in a good position and he doesn't make the correct pass, he did that at least 3 times last night on a good counter-attack.
February 14, 20188 yr I feel more confident when he plays than when Willian plays. He's always been the better player between the two and is more dangerous in the final 3rd and offers superb long range shooting. Should start against Barcelona with Morata and Eden.

Everyone on this forum known i don't rate Willian but he is far superior to Pedro this season.

Willian just turns up for the lower quality teams specially in the cups. I guarantee Willian will be class against Hull and everyone will bang on about how inform he is after 1 game.

I would take that given that we lost to burnley, palace, watford, bournemouth this season. I would definitely take that over "whatever" pedro brings to the table.

All we have to do is build a time machine, go back a few years and show the CFC board what KDB and Salah are capable of now. Then have them sack Jose instead of selling the players. Voila, we've got us a Hazard-KDB-Salah attacking unit. Can anyone believe we bought those two for 7m and 11m? Of all the sh*tty things Mourinho has done to us, this is one that keeps coming back to haunt us every time I watch City or Pool play. What a disaster.
